Perfect overview of the city and museums. Enjoyed seeing the neighborhoods - both wealthy and poor.

5.00There is no way we would have been able to see so much without our knowledgeable guide. We learned about life in the Johannesburg area - visiting its different neighborhoods, learning about their cultural and political history, etc. To be invited to walk through one of the shanty communities in Soweto was a privilege and i gained a real respect and better understanding of how life is organized, shared, etc. Spent 2 hrs in the Apartheid Museum which allowed us to pick a section in which to deep dive - we spent time focusing on the Mandela exhibit. Touring the Mandela (Nelson & Winnie) home was a great way to wrap up the day.

Loved the Mandela Museum and house. The Soweto tour was very interesting! Witness was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
