  For a chill, relaxed tour that includes a primer on wine making and plenty to taste, take BuzzTours. I picked it hoping to avoid the tour bus routes and it was perfect. We went to small producers and saw few others. The tour team was also great: Vanessa was knowledgeable but also fun to hang out with and Mikael a great counterpoint and driver. My friends kept talking about how much fun it was days later.

  Thanks to Vanessa and Mickael for a very well run tour and fantastic afternoon where we visited 2 beautiful chateaux. The tour was interesting, informative and fun.. Vanessa and Mickael were engaging and always happy to answer any question about the Bordeaux wine region and beyond.

  My husband and I loved this tour. We learnt a lot had had fun. The first chateau was our favourite - a traditional chateau. We learnt about their winemaking process and tasted their wine in the beautiful old building. The second vineyard was a modern one. Here we tasted more wine and ate cheese. Vanessa was our guide and Mickael was the driver and they were both great. There was just one other person on our tour.

  I loved our tour with Buzz Tours! 100% recommended! If you want to learn about wine and drink with new friends, this is the place! Mickäel and Vanessa make the tours so cozy and fun that it feels you are just hanging out with old friends! Plus they are so knowledgeable about the Bordeaux region, its wine and all you need to know about wine production that you really leave with a good notion about how to experience wine in the best possible way!

  Extremely educational with the most accommodating guides ever. Wine tasting can be a little snobbish especially if you’re with people who understand wine but this trip was so relaxed. I felt safe asking beginner questions that were as basic as, “is Cremant de Bordeaux like champagne and if yes, is it offensive to put OJ” lol They gave us a fan test at the end to familiarise ourselves more with scents when smelling wine. That was my fave part. They also happily hung out with us after tour at a cute wine bar in the city.

  We had an amazing time with Buzz Tours, it was just us and another couple so felt pretty much like a private tour! It was great to have a driver and a tour guide so you were constantly entertained on the drive to the vineyards and got some great facts about the area. The two choices of vineyards was great as you got to see two different types and wow so much wine! Really friendly bunch highly recommend!

  This was the most fun and informative wine tasting I've ever done! First we visited an organic winery that had a fascinating museum and very knowledgeable guide. We learned about natural wine making techniques through each season and got to see the old factory. The tastings at the end were a great mix. Next we visited an absolutely magical chateau winery! It was like something out of a fairytale. We got to see the grounds of the chateau and had a lovely tasting in the gardens, under a vine tree. Again the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The owners of Buzz Tours have put so much thought and care into making this tour a great well-rounded experience. The selection of wines is an exciting range. They created a friendly atmosphere among the group and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. From the beginning to the end of the tour- I was comfortable and having fun. You will too! Don't hesitate to book this tour when you visit Bordeaux.
