Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
The first stop is visit The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of Uncle Ho kept. Next you will see the Presidential Palace - a nice French architecture in the garden and visit Ho Chi Minh on stilts, learn about the simple life of Ho Chi Minh - the first President of Vietnam and the man who is loved by most of Vietnamese. (During the Uncle’s Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday you will visit the prison Maison Centrale – well-known as one of the most inhumane prisons with terrified punishment, Hoa Lo Prison, aka Maison Centrale, is a symbol of strong will of prisoners and their sacrifice for their communist ideals.)
Temple of Literature & National University
Next to the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam), which is a historic Confucian temple and the site of Vietnam's first national university. It's a beautiful and culturally significant place to explore.
