What To Expect
Keewaydin Island
Keewaydin Island is a beautiful 9 mile beach with one side protected by the Marco River and the other side open the the beautiful and amazing waters of the Gulf. Many guests walk the beach looking for the elusive Junonia and Alphabet Cones. Banded tulips and lighting whelks always impress. If you are not shelling, bring a towel and enjoy the sugar sand and the beach.
We see the Dolphins, Mangroves and birds native to the area as we head through the area to get to the shelling beaches. Some amazing houses along the harbor that show off the amazing Port Royal. It is about 30 minute ride in each direction as we enjoy the views.

5.00We had the best day and best tour! The dolphins performed for us thanks to Capitan Paul S!!! He is the dolphin whisperer! We were taken to 2 islands to shell and found tons!!! Capital Paul was so helpful pointing out shells we didn't even see and was super knowledgeable of the shells and their names. We had a great day and a ton of laughs thanks to our Captian! Highly recommend the tour and be sure you get Captain Paul S. and don't forget to tip, he's worth it!

5.00Captain Paul S. was great. He was very informative and made sure we found the best shells! Would highly recommend him. He made sure we were comfortable and knew where we were going. He was able to get dolphins to swim behind the boat. It was truly amazing!

5.00We had such a great day! Our captain was the best! He walked with us & explained shells to us & found some great shells that he gave to all of us. We had fun on the boat by stirring up the dolphins to play in the wake of our boat. The dolphins were everywhere! It is a tour that you don't want to miss!

5.00We had 6 adults and 4 kids from 10 years old to 6 months, The boat was perfect!!, having a real bathroom is also a major plus. Comfortable, safe, shady with the Tiki roof, and equipped with 2 powerful outboard engines. Captain Paul and Captain Evan were our guides. They were great, the cruise around Port royal was fun, and the shelling for the kids was so much fun!! Captain Paul show samples of various shells explaining their names and info about each. That was key as the kids were finding shells everywhere on the beach. There were 2 coolers full of ice for our lunch and drinks to go. 3 hours was perfect for the kids and the weather was great also. It was the absolute perfect family boating and shelling experience.
