What To Expect
Valley of the Kings
Located in Luxor, Egypt, the Valley of the Kings Temple is an architectural marvel that has stood for thousands of years. This temple was built during the reign of Amenhotep III in the eighteenth dynasty of the New Kingdom, and was used as a place of worship for the gods of ancient Egypt. The temple consists of an intricate network of courtyards, statues, and columns, as well as a variety of artifacts, including a seated granite statue of Amenhotep III and a sphinx. Temple of Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut is an ancient Egyptian temple located on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor. Built in the 15th century BC, it is one of the most impressive monuments from the New Kingdom period in Egypt's history. The temple was dedicated to the sun god Amun and was built by Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh. 5.00We had an amazing experience visiting the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple thanks to our guide Ahmed. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about Egypt’s history. He explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, bringing the ancient sites to life for both us and our kids. Ahmed was also very attentive and patient, making sure we were comfortable the whole time, especially in the heat. He guided us efficiently through the sites, helped us avoid crowds, and made sure we saw the most impressive tombs and viewpoints.

5.00Ahmed was very knowledgeable and personable and he was very-well spoken in English. He was waiting for me in the lobby; I appreciated his promptness. His car was clean and roomy, and his driver was pleasant and also spoke English. He swiftly took me through the ticket agents and to the best tombs in rhe Valley of the Kings. He was so helpful that after I told him my wife was having stomach problems, he stopped at a pharmacy on the way back to the hotel to get some medicine for her. I definitely recommend him as a tour guide while in Luxor.

5.00The tour went well, the guide was telling us about Egypt in Russian, since it was the two of us - he offered us several options for the itinerary and we chose where to stop and where not to go. We were picked up from our hotel at a time of our choosing and taken back after the tour.

5.00The tour went well on schedule, we were picked up from the hotel at our convenience and returned to the same place. The guide spoke pretty good Russian, but the accent is there, so be prepared for it. Since it was just the two of us, it was our choice where to go, the guide suggests options. Didn't like the fact that in front of the Hatshepsut temple the guide quickly told us about him, but didn't come inside with us. He didn't come to the borders with us either, but the other guides don't go there either, but in the temple many people walked together over the years and listened to their stories on the spot. On the whole, everything went well, especially liked the valley of the Queens because almost no one comes in and there were no crowds.

5.00Takes you back to another world. The tombs were amazing and temples also. I found Luxor to be such a nice welcoming change from the energy of Cairo. My tour guide Ahmed was the absolute best. So knowledgeable and friendly. Told me all about the history of ancient and current times and also took me to an authentic restaurant to have lunch so definitely recommend him also. Once in a lifetime experiance. Book it now 😊
