Afternoon wine tour with a lunch stop. A great option for people who desire the expert knowledge and connections that a winemaker tour guide can offer. A compact tour with time for lunch at a winery (at own cost).
On our half day tour you get up close and personal with the Marlborough wine region. You visit 3-4 wineries which can include a visit to Makana Chocolate Shop. Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight for our half-day customers.
The half day small group winery tour has an itinerary but the tour guide will invite participants to make winery requests and vineyard suggestions.
If you have a favorite wine that you would like to taste and visit then we will do our best to take you there on this Half day Winery tour. This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog.

5.00Enjoyed this half day trip to four vineyards with Cam as our group guide. Tasted some great wines. Loved the Sauvignon Blanc 2025 release at Nautilus. And the sparkling whites and Pinot Noir. Appreciated the pick up and return to accommodation, especially as it rained. Good food at Saint Clair kitchen too.

5.00We went to 4 different vineyards and got to taste multiple wines at every one. The tourguide was lovely and explained some things about the region, and at the vineyards themselves we got to speak to the other tour particpants and we got some backstory on the wines and wineries.

5.00Had a great day with Cam and our friends touring several vineyards(one with craft brews too!) and finished with a chocolate shop/manufacturer! Beautiful countryside, a stop at a beautiful little park with lovely roses (we were picked up early off the cruise ship so we had time)great wines in interesting places with friendly people, and a great lunch with good wine and craft brews also outside on the patio. Back to the ship in plenty of time and a really delightful day! Highly recommend!

5.00A very interesting tour as we visited a number of wineries varying from a well-known name to specialist locals. We were collected from our motel and Darlene made us comfortable right from the start. She has good local knowledge, could answer our questions with ease and gave us a good insight to the area’s history. At each winery we tasted quality wines not only representative of their range but also of the Marlborough district. Best of all we were able to relax and enjoy the wines. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a wonderful time on our half day wine tasting tour yesterday. Despite Hop ‘n Grape tours not being able to run the tour for us, they quickly rearranged it for the same day with another company, Jade Tours. Our guide, John, was excellent throughout, being both very knowledgeable and engaging. The three sites we visited provided a good range of wine, which provided a good test for our palettes. The other people on the tour enriched the visit and made it a memorable experience.

5.00Our guide Amanda took us to 4 BEAUTIFUL winery’s, where we had a delicious lunch at one. 2 of the winery’s were smaller, which happened to be our favorite. It was a beautiful day in Blenheim. Would definitely recommend!
