Ong Jemel site takes its name from a rock formation shapes as camel’s neck. In the 90s, the director Anthony Minghella chose the place for the filming of several scenes of his drama-romance film” The English Patient”, after spotting the site in the desert as an excellent outdoor plateau.

It is in the 90s that George Lucas chose the site of Ong Jemel for a new episode of Star wars saga. Mos Espa is a city controlled by the Hutts of the planet Tatooine wich it is the capitol before the development Mos Eisley. Anakin Skywalker and his friends lived there as a child.

A must-see for Tunisia: 4x4 ride in the desert and then the village of Mos Espa that brings back memories to Star Wars fans (however the house of the Lars and Ksar Hadada are not on the program)

A timeless place in the middle of the desert, ideal for Star Wars fans. Unfortunately the decors suffered, the sellers spoil the pleasure of the visit. Still, it feels like we're on another planet and we're soaking up the scenes from the movie.

The greatest experience in Tunisia. Sami is very fun and interesting to Talk to. The driver was also great, he drove us through several impressive zones... fast! We went to Ong Jmel, Mos Espa, the dunes, and some other nearby places, It was just great. Very recommended

Very nice afternoon with Sammi and the driver. Magnificent landscapes, lots of useful information, good atmosphere, with the final surprise of an aperitif in the middle of the desert. Few tourists fortunately in this season (mid-October).

Avoid this excursion at all costs. It's a real robbery. In their description they sell a 4-5 hour excursion or "half-day", in reality it is 2h15-2h30 in total counting the way tozeur nefta!!! I mean, we actually spent 60 minutes in the desert. No explanations, no apologies, no partial refund. It is excessively expensive and does not correspond to what they promise and sell. Better look for another excursion with another agency.

Ali was so helpful,I knew when I was organising my hol back in sunny England he was a find as his communication was good. Then day before bus was full and having trouble getting there. Ali was helping me all the way and also helping make sure I set off ok tomorrow. Did the star wars tour which he bespoke for me in our conversation, out of season so just me. If only all tour guides help you as much as Ali's helped me, probably don't need it most of the time but the public transport is infrastructure isn't great here although I've found all Tunisians lovely and laid back and friendlY

We did the half day Star Wars tour and it was excellent. The tour started at 1:30pm from Tourez and we were picked up in a new 4x4 car. We visited: the Star Wars canyon, Ong Jemel, Mos Espa and finished at the Lars Homestead for a beautiful sunset. We also had some really fun 4x4 action in between the sites. The guide spoke excellent English and we were had a great time, would highly recommend.

Very good agency Good Mood in the 4/4 small bottle of water offered clean and comfortable car. Beautiful adventure in the desert of magnificent views the guide does his utmost to satisfy the customer good Price quality ratio. VIP Welcoming as surprise it was an unforgettable moment.
