Ahmed did a great job. He suggested a couple other places to see. Made for a nice half day tour. Just the right amount of information.

My tour was with Ghusun and I could not have asked for a better guide - professional, punctual, diligent and very informative. We had a relaxed pace, given opportunity to engage with all the attractions, learned a lot (actually kept impressing people we met during the rest of our travels in Oman with the facts, figures and observations that Ghusun shared with us). The car we were driven in was comfortable, clean and spacious. Due to an event in the city that day, we were slightly behind the schedule because of the traffic, Ghusun was generous with his time and energy and we still managed to visit all the sites despite the delay. This was very much appreciated and I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the best sights of Muscat in a comfortable and relaxed way.

The four-hour city tour was very impressive. Palace, Mosque (take off shoes), Opera, Fish Market, Souk. Buy nothing at the souk in Muscat.Despite ban, you are constantly harassed (the traders are not Omani).Wucher. There are local souks that are correct. Spices should definitely be bought.Curry,

Khalil our guide was very knowledgeable and took us on a great tour of the city. We saw everything from the souqs to the mosque to the opera house. Really recommend for an intro to Muscat!

Our guide met us early at our hotel which meant we were able to get to the Grand Mosque before the crowds. Khamis, our guide, was informative and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we saw what we wanted to see; he took photos for us and generally looked after us very well. The Grand Mosque is a ‘must see’ site if in Muscat. Beautiful, impressive and spectacular. The Mosque is only open for a limited time in the morning. From the Mosque we visited the Opera House; again a spectacular building. From there we went to the fish market and souks. Finally the Old Palace and Forts. We got some great photos. The tour lasted just over 4 hours but was a perfect way to see the main sites of Muscat in one go! We would highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour with Basil. He spoke English very well. We learned a lot about history and Oman today. Four hours is good enough to see everything necessary in nutmeg.

It depends on your guide. Our driver/guide was a young man who may or may not have been well trained but English was a little problem. Instead of giving us descriptions himself he had downloaded a number of descriptions of various sights by an American, on his phone, and with some technical issues resolved, he played the description of each site. So he was more a driver than a guide. In any event, the sites that were chosen are good especially the Royal Opera House and Sultan Qaboos mosque. The souk is interesting but too focussed on tourists souvenirs. You cannot visit the palace but visit it from outside. The fort when lit at night is a pretty sight.

We had a great half day tour with Khamis. He was very friendly with lots of knowledge and kept the tour unrushed and enjoyable. The tour itself was very nice and interesting.

Ghusun was friendly and informative - telling us about Omani life as well as history. We covered a lot in 4 hours, including some shopping time in the souk. The mosque, opera house and surrounding forts and marina were beautiful and extremely well-kept. Definitely worth a visit.
