We will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat where we will first visit the grand mosque is one of the biggest 1-piece handmade Iranian carpet in the world and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers.
Then drive you around the ministries and the Royal Opera House area which is leading arts, and culture organization in the Oman. The vision of the Opera House is to serve as a center of excellence in global cultural engagement. Then visit Qurum Beach Photo Stop and we will take you to have a taste the Omani bread with honey and karak tea.
Muttrah Souk is next, where you can find various souvenirs and Muttrah Souq one of the oldest marketplaces in Oman, after we will show you the Al Alam palace, the official palace of his majesty.
Next visit the 2 Portuguese forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani photo stop are next on the itinerary.

Please be aware that every Friday, both the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal Opera House are closed. As a result, we will only be able to make a photo stop outside, along with a brief explanation.
Children under 5 years old can join the tour free of charge.
The Grand Mosque is open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and it is closed on Fridays. If your booking is between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, we will only be able to make a photo stop outside, along with a brief explanation.
What To Expect
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
At approximately 8:30 AM, we will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat where we will first visit the Grand mosque which, among a couple others, is one of the biggest 1-piece handmade Iranian carpet in the world. The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Shortly. (Dress code for the grand mosque: Men and women must wear long sleeve long pants and ladies must cover their hair)
Royal Opera House
We will drive you around the ministries and the Royal Opera House area which is leading arts, and culture organization in the Sultanate of Oman. The vision of the Opera House is to serve as a center of excellence in global cultural engagement.

5.00An absolutely fantastic way to explore Muscat in a short amount of time! The tour was incredibly well organised, comfortable, and packed with beautiful sights and cultural insights. We visited all the key landmarks including the stunning Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House, Muttrah Souq, Al Alam Palace, and the historic forts overlooking Old Muscat. A huge thank you to our guide, Said Al Kiyumi, who truly made the experience exceptional. He was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Omani culture and history. He explained everything in such an engaging way and made us feel very welcome throughout the tour. The pace of the tour was perfect — relaxed but efficient — and we never felt rushed. The traditional Omani bread, honey, and karak tea stop was a lovely local touch and one of the highlights of the day. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, pickup was seamless, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. This tour is perfect for anyone visiting Muscat for the first time or even for a short stopover. Highly recommended, especially if you get the chance to tour with Said Al Kiyumi!

5.00The experience with Khalid AlRaqadi was great. He was promptly on time, kind and really knew his subject. We visited the: Grand Mosque Mattrah souq AlAlam palace Opra house He even gave us tips on how to negotiate in the market (😄). Khalid also took us to an Omani sweet store and gave us traditional desserts and coffee. He said he wasn't an expert photographer but captured beautiful pictures of us as well. All in all I would recommend anyone who wants to see these iconic places in Muscat and want to understand the history behind to book a guided tour with Khalid.

5.00Our tour guide/driver Kahlil was excellent. He was kind, polite and took us around Muscat, showing us all the main spots and a bit more. The car was comfortable and he had cold water waiting for us. Highly recommend.

In only 4 hours we saw all the city’s must-see landmarks without feeling rushed, thanks to flawless organization and our wonderful guide, **Ahmad**. From the very first minute, everything ran smoothly. Our guide Ahmad picked us up right at our hotel in a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle (huge plus in the heat!). He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate – he shared fascinating stories about Omani history and culture that made every stop come alive. We started at the breathtaking **Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque** – the intricate architecture, giant crystal chandelier, and stunning Persian carpets left us speechless. Next was the elegant **Royal Opera House**, followed by a relaxing photo stop at scenic **Qurum Beach**. We then admired the impressive **Al Alam Palace** with the historic **Al Jilali and Al Mirani forts** in the background, and finished at the vibrant **Mutrah Souq**, where we wandered through the colorful stalls, enjoyed the authentic atmosphere, and picked up some beautiful souvenirs and frankincense. 5.00I literally had the most incredible experience exploring Oman, and it was all thanks to my guide Khalid AlRaqadi. From the very beginning, he went out of his way to make sure everything felt seamless, comfortable, and genuinely special. What stood out most was his kindness. He wasn’t just knowledgeable about every place we visited he was patient, thoughtful, and truly attentive in a way that made me feel safe and taken care of the entire time. Whether it was adjusting plans, sharing local insights, or simply checking in to make sure I was enjoying myself. We were able to visit the Grand Mosque Fish market , Mattrah souq AlAlam palace Almerani &Jalali fort and finally the Opera house wow!!!!
