What To Expect
Table Mountain offers some of the most unique and dramatic climbing experiences you can find on earth! We will usually take the Cable Car up and abseil/rappel down the cliff that we will be climbing. Depending on the time of day we will be climbing above the Atlantic Ocean (Camps Bay) or above Cape Town City Centre, either way, it's mind-blowing. The climbing is all traditional (no bolts are in the rock) and it will involve 3-4 pitches (+- 100m/300ft.) of climbing. Grades and Skill level: - It is advised to have a basic level of rock-climbing experience but most of our clients have never done a multi-pitch before! - Grades are adjusted for each client and their needs. Note: the attractions below will be in clear view during our activity. Actually, we'll have the BEST view around :)

5.00What can I say!? Kai is a legend. Me and my wife did a days trad climbing on table mountain. We abseiled down to the start of the climb and just had a blast from start to finish. He was very considerate of needs and capabilities throughout the day! Highly recommended 👌 I also did a solo day of climbing with Kai and equally had an absolutely amazing day. 5.00What an awesome day! Kai and Ross were amazing. Kai was great with changing the booking based on the weather and was super responsive. I climbed with Ross who was super patient with me as I’m dealing with a shoulder injury. I didn’t get to complete the route - my choice - but I’ll definitely be back when my shoulder is stronger. I felt safe the entire time and learned so much about Table Mountains flora and fauna on the hike up and back down. Five stars. What an awesome experience!

5.00Me and my family climbed in the Silvermines part of table mountain with Kai and had a fantastic time! Our group had very beginner climbers and me who is a bit more advanced. Kai helped us pick the best trip for us and we all had a great time. He helped teach me more about belaying and outdoor climbing too which was awesome. He brought a partner whose name I can’t recall right now and this let us have multiple climbers going at the same time. We all felt very safe and had a blast. Kai was also very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Cape Town!

5.00My experience with the Climb Table Mountain crew was a blast. I was guided by Kai, who was super knowledgable and fun company. As a relatively experienced climber, I was returning from an injury that kept me away from climbing for a couple of months, so Kai tailored the day to give me an adventurous experience but kept the route choice relaxed and enjoyable. I had also never climbed trad before, so I followed on the gear Kai placed. He ran me through the fundamentals of gear placement (for demonstration purposes only) and cleaning, which was a great education on its own. We climbed four pitches, and the rock was incredible - super grippy sandstone that felt secure and uniquely featured; a good mix of face, arete and traverse climbing. Throughout the leadup, Kai's communication was just the right amount, and he really worked to give me the experience I was after. This was my only opportunity to climb in SA on this trip, and it did not disappoint. Experienced or not, it's always great to climb with someone who really knows a spot and can take you up great routes. Don't think about it, just book it ;)

5.00This company was great and provided a tremendous customer experience. We were met at our accomodation by our guy. He was knowledgeable and friendly and stopped off en-route to pick up some excellent local food. We had an awesome day rock climbing and our guide was re-assuring and most importantly safe. I couldn't recommend this company enough and I look forward to using them for more adventures in the future.

5.00WOW, this was the highlight of my trip! I cannot recommend this activity highly enough! Kai, our guide/instructor, was extremely knowledgeable and maintained calm when things were not going to plan. He was extremely patient and assuring with my sister (who I now know has a fear of heights). I would definitely do rock climbing with Kai again if I ever visit Cape Town in the future.

5.00Very nice experience with Kai! The views of Lion's Head, the ocean and the city are amazing. It was a first experience for me in trad, a lot of adrenaline but Kai was very reassuring and encouraging. He even let me go a length in my head! I enjoyed sharing with Kai and think about rescheduling an outing with him! I highly recommend! 😁
