Snorkel and Sail with the USCG Licensed Crew aboard the Sailing Yacht "FURY", a beautifully restored Morgan 46' Ketch. We actually "SAIL" out to the refuge and encounter the Green Sea Turtles in their natural Habitat. The reef is home to many species of tropical fish, octopus, stingrays and an assortment of corals. The experienced crew will guide and entertain you while keeping you safe in and out of the water.
The Captain and crew will point out significant historical sites as the Yacht exits the Harbor, the sails will be raised and the guests will experience Real Sailing out to Buck Island. (about 40 min.). Upon arrival, guests will be outfitted with all the gear needed to enjoy this experience. Fury also provides Flotation devices to those individuals who are less comfortable in the water. Rum drinks, beer, soda, bottled water, snacks and FUEL are all included with this trip.
This tour is available for Private groups of 25 or less, as well as individuals and small groups.

Must be able to climb a 7 foot vertical ladder without assistance to get in and out of the water. Otherwise guest must stay on the vessel during the snorkeling portion of our trip.

What To Expect
St. Thomas
FURY and her US Coast Guard Licensed Crew Sails out of the Historic Charlotte Amalie Harbor, passing by the ruins of an old fort and customs house and into the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean. We continue to sail to the National Marine Wildlife Sanctuary at Buck Island aboard a meticulously clean and restored sailing Yacht. We arrive at Turtles Cove and provide guests with professional snorkel gear and a short lesson and orientation about the bay. Snorkel in clear calm waters with the Green Sea Turtles and a variety of marine wildlife including octopus, tropical fish, stingrays and a beautiful coral reef. Alcoholic Beverages, soft drinks, snacks and a fresh water shower are all included. Unlike other tours, Fuel and Crew are also included in the Price. No $$ Surprises at the end of your trip.

1.00I attempted to book this tour through the operator's booking vendor, VIATOR, and an hour and a half after the request to book was submitted my trip was declined. I am posting this so any attempted buyers are aware, when you book through this tour company, their booking system VIATOR has no idea if Fury is available for the time you requested, even though they let you try to book the trip. I had to enter all my credit card info to submit the request. Then when it was declined, nether VIATOR, nor the vendor (who both had my email address & cell #) even attempted to tell me when I could book a different time or day! I went into the tour co.'s website & it showed a later trip I could book the same day in VIATOR but of course I have no way of knowing if that trip is actually available. In the declination email VIATOR offered me some other trips I might want to try instead, but they were in Barbados not St Thomas. Overall, this booking attempt was in my opinion a waste of my vacation time and an epic fail on both the vendor & VIATOR's end of this extremely poor, non-real time booking system. The vendor should just have you book by phone. This was very aggravating because I only had time to do this trip tomorrow and could have booked a different tour if I knew they weren't actually available. If I were the tour operator I would find a different booking system. Here are the options suggested in my email Booking declined Unfortunately, your booking has been declined by the operator. You have not been charged for this activity. We apologize for the change of plans. 3.00Having gone on many snorkel tours in the Caribbean islands this one definitely was lacking by comparison. The excursion was supposed to be 4 hours but was 3 1/2 hours. We went to a cove where we saw 2 turtles, no coral & no fish. They provided rum punch or beer after the snorkel. The “snacks” were a small bowl of pass around pretzels. We chose this excursion because it was considered luxury & capped at 12 - 15 people. It was not luxury, the hold was messy & the bathroom was worse. The price was $159/person & we were reminded that they expected a 20% tip. We would not recommend.

5.00Wow. To Start Captain Mike and First mate Nikki are a perfect fit for this excursion. Friendly, knowledgeable and Helpful. At first we did not follow the map correctly to get to the R-Bar. However; it was right at the nose of our princess ship. "Go figure". Pleasant ride out to buck island where we seen turtles, stingray and lots of fish and coral. Prior to jumping into the water there was a short safety and proper snorkelling demo. Unique non-cumbersome floatation devices ( if you needed them ) that made the whole experience extra pleasant. Sailing Boat was a perfect size for medium sized group. ( 20 people ) . All and all was a wonderful day. 100 times better than giant excursions on a catamaran.

5.00This a very relaxing excursion. The sailing to and from the island was great. The snorkeling is going to vary day to day, but we saw 1 turtle, a sting ray, a barracuda, and lots of fish. Captain Mike and Nikki were very personable and fun. They did a great job with everything. I think there were around 12 people on the excursion. It didn’t feel too crowded like many other excursions do. I would highly recommend.

4.00First off, the captain was wonderful. Our cruise ship was late and we ended up 25 minutes late to the boat and he was so nice to wait for us. The boat ride was beautiful. We were able to see a whale in the water. So amazing. The snorkeling was ok. I thought we would see a lot more turtles and fish, but did not see too much. We really only saw about 3 turtles. All-in-all, this was a nice relaxing trip.

5.00Captain Mike and Nikki were the best! We had a great experience. Many turtles, beautiful fish and corral, but better yet, great company and hospitality. 5 stars is not enough. What a great day!
