Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site. We also offer scuba diving on our trips.
In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

What To Expect
Discover some of the most beautiful reefs in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park, part of the world’s third-largest living reef system and the only living coral reef in the U.S. This guided experience includes two snorkel locations in protected areas where you may encounter turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels, Dolphins, sharks and various fish species. *Please note: Specific sites are not guaranteed, and full-face masks are not permitted. In unsafe weather conditions , your adventure will shift to a unique mangrove snorkel, showcasing a vibrant and lush ecosystem. Boat riders are welcome to join for a scenic ride, soaking up sun on the deck or enjoying the water to snorkel and explore the reefs. Important: All minors must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. If parents are not present, please complete this in advance, as friends and family cannot legally sign. We observe a 24-hour cancellation policy, Failure to call or no show, will result in you having to pay again to attend, and no refund or rescheduled trip will be offered. If unsatisfied with your trip, please see management after disembarking for assistance.

5.00Best snorkeling trip!! We went to 2 different dive sites. Captain John and first mate Nate are a great team and they took great care of us! It was my friends first time snorkeling so Nate gave her an intro and the tools she needed and she loved every second of it! I was blown away seeing the Chris of the Abyss. Such an unbelievable experience! Can't wait to come back!

5.00GREAT experience! Capt. Brad and Scuba Joe were the BEST! They were informative, helpful, entertaining and loads of FUN! Capt. Brad’s playlist was upbeat with songs you could sing along with! The reefs they took us to (Dry Rock and Horseshoe Reefs) were like snorkeling in an aquarium! We saw a wide variety of fish, coral and sea fans. I HIGHLY recommend Pirates Cove Watersports for your water adventures! 5 STAR Adventure!

5.00We had an incredible day on the water with Captain Brad, Scuba Joe and Charlie. They were a super fun group of guys and took the experience to the next level. Snorkeling the reef was absolutely beautiful. We saw way more fish than I expected. We even got to swim with a sea turtle. I Would recommend this experience for anyone. The captain and first mate made us feel safe and told us all about what to watch for while we were in the water. Look forward to coming back in the future.

5.00It's a fantastic crew, good music and the snacks afterwards has been so much appreciated! The locations had been amazing. We have soon a nurse shark and a group of spotted eagle rays! I will be definitely back next time when we are here! Also bring your kids. My 11 year old daughter loved it!
