Our excursion offers an authentic Bora Bora lagoon safari designed for guests who value quality, ethics and small groups. We operate with very limited numbers on board, visit multiple sites chosen daily based on conditions, and observe marine life in its natural environment without feeding or staging encounters. Led by experienced local guides, our tours regularly encounter manta rays, eagle rays, turtles, dolphins, and vibrant coral gardens, while respecting French Polynesia's wildlife protection laws. Every trip is different, personal and driven by nature - making it a genuine, responsible and unforgettable snorkeling experience.

This 3.5 hour tour by boat will take you to 3 or 4 separate snorkeling spots around the most beautiful lagoon in the world. The itinerary of the tour is never fixed and depends on the conditions of the day. We include a manta ray stop, a stop at the inner reef to see a natural coral garden abundant with life, an eagle ray stop and, if we have time, a fourth stop decided on the day taking into account conditions and things you may already have seen during your time here. The animals are seen in their natural environment and we do not partake in feeding or visit any sites where animals are artificially attracted by feeding (most notably the site where you can be in very shallow water with blacktip reef sharks and stingrays). Shark and ray feeding has been illegal in French Polynesia since October 2017, and we strictly respect both the law and ethical wildlife practices. The beauty of Bora Bora provides the perfect backdrop to the tour and you can soak this in as we cruise from spot to spot. We remain committed to small groups, responsible tourism, and respectful wildlife encounters, and we thank our many guests who choose us specifically for these values.

Excellent morning snorkeling! David is particularly friendly and responsive! Recovered on the pontoon next to my accommodation and it went for a tour of the lagoon with 4 stops to discover different species (leopard rays, manta, corals), as well as many explanations. You can go with your eyes closed! Thanks again and see you soon 😉

We had a great experience with H2O Snorkeling. David was an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide who made the whole trip enjoyable and relaxing from start to finish. His boat was spotless, very well maintained, and comfortable, which made a big difference out on the water. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, David really went the extra mile to find the best possible snorkeling spots. Thanks to his effort, we were still able to have an amazing experience. We saw manta ray, eagle rays, and explored a beautiful coral garden. We really appreciated David’s dedication and energy. Highly recommend!

Our guide David was great. His experience showed as he was able to guide us to see Eagle Rays, sharks, Manta Rays and at least a million beautiful fish. He and his co pilot were so gracious and fun. Just a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Wilson and Raoul. They found amazing eagle rays that we swam with (which was magical) and also a Manta ray. After the rays, we went to a Coral Garden and saw beautiful fish, coral as we drifted in the beautiful water. We saw so much of Bora Bora from the water - which is a GREAT view. Highly recommend! The small group makes it just soooo comfortable.

This was a great tour but be aware that it involves swimming in deep water. They offer life jackets and flippers, take them. You will see Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, and tons of other fish. It was great but you will need to be able to swim some distance.

I and my husband cannot swim but could do this activity without much difficulty. As long as you are comfortable in water, you can do this activity with ease. We saw so many manta rays, beautiful corals and underwater colorful fishes ..we even shot an underwater video..

After a bunch of stays in Bora Bora, my favorite tour company is still H2O Bora Bora. It is always a pleasure to deal with Aimee for the booking process and her partner David for the tour. The 5.0 TripAdvisor mark tells it all. Looking forward for a feet in the water lunch on a motu for our next tour. We'll be back!

We just wanted to say how wonderful H2O is. Aimee who I texted and spoke to several times it was so accommodating and our captain Terai was amazing. We went out twice with him and the first time was quite stormy, but he was so determined to help us find the mantas and the eagle rays and took us to some beautiful coral , as well. He was amazing. On the second trip we had really nice weather and again another wonderful trip. Highly recommend them to anyone visiting BoraBora. We are from Hawaii so we can really appreciate a good water excursion! Mahalo and Mahaaruru
