The afternoon we spent with Marcelo and Cecilia was the highlight of our time in Buenos Aires. They collected us from our hotel and as they drove us to the dance studio, started to share some of the history of tango. We then had an hour’s lesson with a break for mate and delicious cakes. Never having danced tango before they patiently took us step by step until we could make our way (simply) round the dance floor and they said we were ready to do to an afternoon milonga at a tango club. By far the least accomplished people there, they took us to the dance floor to gain our confidence and we were soon making our way round as a couple. We enjoyed drinks and food as well as watching others. A truly memorable afternoon. We couldn’t imagine a kinder or more professional team to learn from.

My friend and I visited Buenos Aires and wanted to learn to dance the tango but we were two women traveling without partners. No problem! Our instructors Marcelo and Cecilia taught us the couple moves and then we added Diego to the mix to serve as the extra male dancer. What makes this experience special is that we then practiced what we learned by visiting a milonga afterwards. That worked out great since both my friend and I were able to dance with the two male instructors. They also took photos and videos of the day which allowed us to bring home those memories. An unforgettable experience. Ladies, I highly recommend it! Go for it!

The tour was done professionally and with eagerness to convey the dance style of tango to us. They were patient and helpful. Instruction was on the mark and was obvious they knew how to quickly make improvements to anyone’s current dance abilities for the method to tango. History and culture was explained and appreciated the snack and tea offered. The dance hall is dated but made it exactly right for the overall feel of the tango tour.

What a wonderful time we had with Marcelo and Flor. This alone was worth the trip to Buenos Aires - From collecting us at the Hotel - a car just for 2 - Marcelo shared his live and enthusiasm of the Tango. The lesson - effectively one to one - was perfect and a great introduction to this amazing dance! This was followed by an introduction to the Milongas and left us spell bound! Can't wait fir the next time - We can not recommend this event enough. Thank You Marcelo and Flor Ray & Christine

Marcelo and assistant were excellent instructors and provided basic steps and moves for Tango. This was a one hour private lesson followed by a delightful 3 hour visit to a Tango Club to practice.

An excellent way to feel part of the local scene. Dance teachers were very good, with good English and taught us enough steps for us to take part in the milonga dance room. It provided just what we expected and felt very personal with just the two of us. If future tours go to the same dance hall, we recommend the home cooked apple pie.
