Our guides enjoy teaching kids, beginners and experts how to fish! We offer both fly fishing and spin fishing options.
We also specialize in group and family fishing! We have large drift boats that can accommodate up to 5 guests for the ultimate fishing experience.

What To Expect
Our half day and full day trips are great for beginner, intermediate, and advanced anglers! Half day trips are around 4 hours on the water, and 5 hours in total depending on what river is fishing the best. Full Day trips are 6 hours on the water and 7 hours in total. Some of the rivers include the famous Snake River, the Green River, the Salt River, and Lewis Lake. All trips are conducted by floating in a Driftboat. 5.00Our guide Ryan was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the Green River. We each caught a few fish but that was probably only 25% of what bit the lines. There was a lot of action out there and that is for sure based on Ryan’s expertise of what lures to use and where the best spots are. We had a fantastic day. This was our third time fly fishing around Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Tetons and this trip was definitely THE BEST. If you’re looking for a great day of fly fishing look no further than Wandering Angler.

5.00Jackson Hole was Amazing, we were there for a week, some of the most Beautiful Country in the world, we enjoyed the Park Tours, Fishing Snake River, Taking the Trolly up the Mountain, the many shops, restaurants, Art Galleries and more in town. We Loved it so much we booked again for 2026 and will be back in August. So many things to do and see !!!!!!!!

5.00Travis was an awesome guide. He knew the Snake River in Wyoming like the back of his hand. He showed me how to read the river to find the best spots to catch fish. With his guide I caught cutthroat trout and whites. Bottom line, it was a fun day on the Snake!

5.00Husband and college boys went fly fishing with Travis. They had an amazing time. Travis came extremely well prepared and was very knowledgeable about the best places to fish. He was very engaging and super patient with my college boys since this was their first time fly fishing. Travis is awesome. My family is still talking about their time flying. Highly recommend The Wandering Angler for any fishing trips. Fantastic company !
