Guests will snorkel and kayak in the protected waters of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, exploring shallow seagrass beds, coral heads, and quiet mangrove islands. Our crew will lead you through calm, winding channels where you’ll learn about this unique backcountry ecosystem—home to rays, tropical fish, small sharks, sport fish, and the occasional sea turtle. Overhead, keep an eye out for birds like herons, egrets, ospreys, and pelicans that thrive in the mangroves. No kayaking experience? No problem. Our stable sea kayaks are easy to handle, and our crew will have you paddling like a pro in no time.
Key West
The trip begins with a sail through Key West Harbor, where you’ll get a front-row view of the island’s colorful past and present. From the water, you’ll see historic landmarks, working shrimp boats, luxury yachts, and the charming mix of old and new that defines the Key West waterfront. As we cruise along the coastline, our crew will share stories about the island’s rich history—from its days as a bustling port town to its reputation as a haven for artists, pirates, and presidents alike.

We had an amazing half-day adventure on the water with Captain Mary and Bible! From sailing to snorkeling to kayaking, every moment was packed with fun, relaxation, and just the right amount of adventure. What really made the experience special was how much we learned along the way—everything from sailing to the history of Key West, plus insights into the stunning natural habitats we explored. It felt like the perfect mix of education and enjoyment. If you’re looking to get out on the water and make unforgettable memories, don’t miss a trip with Danger Charters—you’ll be so glad you did!

We had an amazing time. Kylie was a great guide and regaled us with stories of dolphins. It was cold and far too windy, but that had no effect on the energy of the crew or our enjoyment. The snorkeling was cool and the mangroves amazing. Highly recommended.

Great afternoon on the water. So glad we went on this tour. Getting on the water in Key West doesn’t disappoint! Crew was able to shut the motor down and sail for a bit. So lovely! Conditions did not allow us to get to the reef to snorkel which was a disappointment, but we were able to snorkel another area, and Ana was AMAZING at helping us find ocean life. She is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! The kayaking was interesting and again another way to enjoy the water although not as much for us as the snorkeling was. We couldn’t have asked for more from the crew - highly recommend Paul, Ana & Joe - they made sure we had the best time within their power to do so —and the sunset was the perfect end to the afternoon.
