Spend a wonderful day in Kyivan Rus Park, after one hour drive from Kyiv to Kopachiv village, 30 miles (52 km). Immerse yourself in the genuine medieval atmosphere, and explore what life was like in the 10th-13th centuries. During 45-minute tour of the park, learn about the culture, history, and traditions of ancient Kyiv. See a large stadium, which holds sporting tournaments and musical performances. Explore exhibitions of ancient weapons, armour, and medieval shipbuilding, and watch ancient traditions come alive with equestrian performances, medieval sport, folk dances and national ceremonies. During 3-hour free time, explore the park on your own. Enjoy traditional cuisine in one of the open-air cafes, participate in workshops or activities like: horseback riding, archery, or crossbow, or watch one of the cultural performances (food, drinks and other activities are not included in the cost of the tour).
