Do you want to experience the authentic, local Istria, with its cuisine and countryside? Then you should join us on a vespa adventure.
We will guide you along scenic paths through vineyards and ancient olive groves, with views of the salt flats on the way. Our focus is on exploring hidden corners of the landscape and indulging in genuine local cuisine.
Our tour starts in small town of Piran with a short drive through the city to get to the countryside. Stops are frequent, so we can enjoy the view and take as many photos as you would like. A local oil farmer waits for us along the way, where we will get a degustation of extra virgin olive oil. Later on we provide a light lunch where you can take a short walk through an Istrian village.
On our way back we will take a road along the coastline with views of the ocean and seaside cities as well as surrounding countries. we finish off with a glass of local wine back at the office while sharing impressions of the tour.

We can accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc. If you have dietary requirements please indicate it to the special requirements at the time of booking.
The reservation includes one Vespa for two people, with one guest as the driver and the other as the passenger. You will be accompanied by tour guides on a separate Vespa.
To drive a Vespa, you need a valid driver's license and must be an adult, 18 years old or over. The reservation includes a 50cc Vespa, but more powerful models (125cc Vespa) are also available upon request; please indicate your preference in the reservation comments, and we will check availability.
A deposit is required before the tour: €150 for the 50cc Vespa and €200 for the 125cc Vespa. This deposit will be fully refunded at the end of the tour if the Vespa and equipment are returned undamaged.
The tour takes around 4-5 hours. The first 30 minutes will be dedicated to safety instructions and rules as well as getting ti know each other and your motorbikes. The ride itself takes approximately 1,5 - 2 hours with frequent stops to take in the scenery. Along the way there is a half an hour stop at the oil farmer and an hour stop for lunch as well.

What To Expect
Piran
Meeting point where we start our adventure. We will get to know each other and our vespas, so we can all be confident and safe on the road. You will get a helmet and water as well and it will be time to start our trip! We start off with a short drive through the city to get to the countryside with local and uncrowded roads.
Secovlje Salina Nature Park
We continue our ride through Secovlje Nature Park where a panoramic view of the salt flats opens up and we get to enjoy and its surroundings. There will be time to take photos and stop for a little break.

5.00Amazing vespa tour and top highlight of our trip to Slovenia & Croatia. Over 5 hours, we zipped through the beautiful, rolling countryside of olive groves and vineyards, with incredible coastal views, and through small villages accessible by local traffic only. We stopped at a family-run olive oil producer for a tasting, toured a small village on foot, and had a fabulous lunch at a restaurant overlooking the coast. Dejan was an excellent host/tour guide; his personal touch added to the experience and safety. He even sent us photos and a video of our adventure after the tour. Overall this was an amazing experience, exceeding our expectations! Highly, highly recommend!

5.00Wonderful experience. Book it. Fabulous Vespa tour with Dejan around the hills and country side outside Piran and in Istria. Dejan showed great care and passion in ensuring we had a great experience. He is very professional from booking to end and his scooters are great. The country side is spectacular, full of Olive groves, grapevines, quaint villages and amazing views. The ride down country roads immerses you in the local life. You experience a fabulous and fascinating Olive Oil tasting and a delicious lunch with a spectacular view. I highly recommend this experience as you get to see more of the local area and Dejan even takes photos and makes a movie of your trip. Worth every cent!

5.00Fantastic and fun experience to do near Piran that offers a different view of the seaside resort you are used to, perfect for an out of the ordinary day. This tour offers the chance to see and experience the beauty of the countryside, salt pans, vineyards, olive groves and some characteristic villages in a unique way, accompanied by Dejan who tells his land in a passionate and professional way, putting you extremely at ease with his friendly character and a very good command of the Italian language. Another highlight of this excursion is the lunch or dinner offered at a very good Istrian restaurant that itself finds the truffles used in the dishes served and where there is also the possibility to buy them at the moment, at more than fair prices, depending on the daily availability. In conclusion this is definitely a highly recommended trip that I hope I will have the opportunity to repeat!

We enjoyed every moment of this tour including olive oil tasting on local farm,very tasteful lunch and all the places which we visited. 5.00I absolutely loved this tour - Dejan was professional but very friendly and welcoming, and he took me to villages I never would have discovered on my own. The experiences - like the olive oil tasting and the dinner at a local truffle restaurant - were super unique and clearly local gems. I would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone visiting Piran!

5.00We did an evening tour with the Vespa with our family with the 2 children. It was absolutely fantastic! Hugely well guided, very big tour, delicious olive oil tasting with nice explanations, nicely told about small Istrian villages, delicious evening meal with fresh local products in local restaurant in the hills. End with a nice glass of wine after the tour! Vespa’s fine material . In short Vespa tour was guided with heart and soul and you feel that and that makes the experience extra fun!
