Peggy's Cove
Your 4-hour private tour starts right from the Halifax Cruise Terminal or your hotel in the city. We’ll hit the road for a scenic 50-minute drive toward Peggy’s Cove, passing through peaceful fishing villages, quiet lakes, and stretches of stunning coastal views along the way. It’s the kind of drive where you’ll want to just sit back, relax, and take it all in. Our first stop is the star of the show — Peggy’s Cove. You’ll spend about an hour exploring this tiny, postcard-perfect village. It feels like a place where time stands still, with colourful homes perched on the rocks, fishing boats in the harbour, and the salty Atlantic breeze in the air. Of course, we’ll visit the iconic lighthouse — one of the most photographed spots in Canada — standing proudly on giant granite rocks with the waves crashing below. You’ll have time to wander the rocks, snap a few unforgettable photos, visit local gift shops, and just enjoy the peaceful vibe of the place.
Fairview Lawn Cemetery
After your visit to Peggy’s Cove, we’ll head back toward Halifax — a drive of about 45 minutes — and stop at one of the most poignant sites in the city: the Titanic Victims Cemetery, officially known as Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Halifax played a significant role in the aftermath of the Titanic disaster, as it was the closest major port to where the ship sank. Here, you'll spend around 15 minutes walking among the graves of over 120 victims, including crew members, passengers from all classes, and even one grave marked only as “The Unknown Child.” Your guide will share moving stories and historical context that bring this place to life in a respectful and memorable way.

Visited Halifax on a cruise so had limited time is felt a tour to see the wider area was best. Fantastic tour. Claudio met us at the cruise terminal and took us to Peggy’s Cove and the Titanic cemetery. Claudio had a great knowledge of Halifax and surrounding area including the history. Along with the planned stops he also took us around some lesser known areas off the main tourist trail which was great. Fantastic tour which I would highly recommend.

We opted for a tour of Peggy’s cove, citadel, titanic cemetery and waterfront. We ran out of time for Citadel as we spent longer at other sites. Thouroughly enjoyed our whole day and would highly recommend this tour, this tour company and Al if you are lucky enough to get him as your guide.
