5.00Even though the weather wasn’t the best for a walking tour that day, I had my umbrella and a rain jacket, and I LOVED this tour! Bruce was an AMAZING tour guide, and he really brought history alive with his enthusiasm and details on these remarkable people. You come away with a real appreciation on how important NYC events were with the start of the United States as a country, and you just want to study even more after you get home. I loved walking in the footsteps of Alexander Hamilton and George Washington, and I’m grateful I was able to do this. Bruce also generously sent us a follow up email with a list of additional resources, books and movies. Fantastic tour, and I learned so much.

5.00After a lot of research, we chose the Washington & Hamilton walking tour because I’m a big fan of Hamilton (the musical) and was curious how it connects to real history, but I also wanted a tour that went beyond the musical. Bruce absolutely delivered. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about American history (and about making sure every guest on his tour has a great experience). We left having learned so much that was completely new to us, along with a deeper appreciation for the complexity of the Revolutionary era and the real people behind the story; far beyond what you get from the musical alone. Hamilton fans will especially love this tour, particularly the fun Q&A Bruce weaves in throughout. Highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in American history or Hamilton or both! Touring with Bruce is a must do when you’re in the “greatest city in the world.”

5.00I had the pleasure of joining Bruce’s “Hamilton & Washington in New York” tour twice—once on my own and once with friends. As a longtime fan of the musical Hamilton, it was the original reason I chose the tour, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. Each time, I learned new historical insights, and the tour truly opened my eyes to the pivotal role New York City played during the American Revolutionary War. Bruce, a certified tour guide with a degree in American history, brings remarkable depth and energy to the experience, and his passion shines through in his engaging storytelling. His parting remarks even brought tears to my eyes! I highly recommend this tour not only to Hamilton fans, but to anyone interested in learning more about these two founding fathers and New York City’s rich Revolutionary-era history.

5.00My six year old son and I took the Washington and Hamilton tour. Bruce made booking the experience easy and was flexible in regard to time and length of tour. The tour itself was fantastic - Bruce came prepared with materials we could take home to remember what we learned and somehow managed to make the tour engaging both for me and my son. We both learned a lot and had a great time on the tour.
