Had a great time with Bruce. He really knew his stuff and was very engaging. He was also very accommodating and found places to get us out of the rain. Also appreciated the comfort break and the stickers!

If you’re interested in tour steeped in American history with insights exceeding a college professor, this is the tour for you. On a day with windchills in single digits, Bruce kept everyone engaged (and warm with some indoor stops). All ages will enjoy and learn! Can’t recommend highly enough. Great communication with and accessibility to Bruce ahead of time for planning purposes. Bruce even advised with best sledding places in Central Park for our family (snowed about a foot in Central Park the day after the tour). When we return to NYC, we’ll 100% take another tour of Bruce’s!

If you think you know George Washington and Alexander Hamilton, take this walking tour and prepare to be joyfully corrected. This American Revolution walking tour through New York City is nothing short of spectacular, and Bruce is the secret weapon that turns history into a living, breathing epic. Questions are welcomed and answered with insight that feels tailored, thoughtful, and endlessly engaging. By the end, you don’t feel like you finished a tour. You feel like you walked out of a particularly great historical novel, except the skyline is real and your feet are tired. This tour is an absolute must for history lovers, Hamilton fans, and anyone who wants to see New York City through the lens of revolution, genius, and grit. Bruce is a phenomenal guide, and this experience is easily one of the most memorable ways to explore NYC.

It was a rainy, and cloudy day. Despite the weather, the guide painted a captivating picture of Washington Hamilton, and of New York City during the revolution. If you’re thinking of going, it doesn’t matter if it’s rain or shine, you’ll thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Excellent tour. We were a family of three with a 9 year old who loved it as much, if not more, than we did. Bruce was outstanding and we hope to take his Central Park tour on our next visit.

Bruce recently led my family on a tour of downtown Manhattan in celebration of my Hamilton-obsessed 11-year-old daughter's birthday. Also in attendance were her 9-year-old sister, parents and grandmother. Bruce seamlessly guided us in a tour that educated my two daughters and provided the adults with additional knowledge. He did a wonderful job of abbreviating an otherwise longer tour to meet the attention span of our children, while making sure to stop at both famous and little-known locations to help us understand what this area of Manhattan both looked like and meant to New Yorkers at the time. He validated all of my children's questions and patiently answered each of them. We look forward to booking another tour with Bruce in the future!

A lot of walking and standing, but very much worth it! Our tour guide was especially clear and knowledgeable- a delight! It was great to learn about, and see actual locations and buildings from the 1776 era.
