Take a song-by-song stroll through Hamilton’s rise and eventual fall as New York’s foremost Founding Father. This tour is designed for folks who have already seen or plan to see the 11 Tony Award winning Broadway production or those just addicted to the cast album. The tour puts the songs, history and lower Manhattan locations into perspective. The tour matches up individual songs with their actual location, including some bonus stops that help illuminate the time and place that Alexander Hamilton lived and died in. Each guest receives a Personal Listening Device to insure you hear every word and note, no matter how noisy the city gets.

This tour "may" not be for children under the age of 9. There is a fair amount of historical information and stories, sometimes the younger children can become bored. However, you know your child best and this is more of a guideline than a rule.
I try to keep the harsher language out of the tour, but it is impossible to eliminate certain profanities and parents should be prepared for their children to hear this.
We do visit the gravesites

Chaz is a wonderful guide that made lower Manhattan history come alive! He knows his stuff! My preteen granddaughters love “Hamilton” and the tour was very educational as well as enjoyable for them.

The tour was cancelled the day we flew to NY for the tour. Very disappointed. Apparently there is only one guide for this tour. I would not recommend booking this tour if you won’t be able to easily reschedule it if an emergency comes up for the tour guide.

Leo Goodman was extremely knowledgeable about history and the musical Hamilton. It was a great way to learn about the history of the area and make it fun by tying in the musical. Leo was so great that after the tour we asked him where to get a cannoli in Little Italy and since he was headed there anyway he just said follow me and I'll take you there. Fun tour and I learned a lot about what the musical got right and what they used "creative license" for. Highly recommend Leo!

So thorough about history and show. Highly recommend! Even when it got cold, Leo found a way to get us inside more to make us comfortable.
