At either 8:00AM or 13:00, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to our bicycle store to select suitable bikes. After getting comfortable with your bicycle and hearing a safety briefing, we will begin our ride. Our first stop is the Long Bien Bridge, the oldest bridge in Hanoi, built over 100 years ago during French colonial times. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Red River, watch boats float underneath, and observe green vegetable farms on the island.
Dong Ahn
We will begin by cycling along the banks of the Red River, enjoying the stunning natural beauty of Vietnam's countryside and observing farmers cultivating their lands. Our journey will take us to a local family that specializes in the art of bonsai, where we can learn about this intricate craft and admire their stunning plant creations. Next, we will continue our cycling tour to a local wet market and we will then take a break at lotus lake, where we can quench our thirst with refreshing sugarcane juice or other local beverages. We will continue cycling along dirt roads and through rural villages until we reach the Co Loa Ancient Citadel. This historic site was constructed in 200 BC and played an important role in Vietnam's history of establishing and defending the country against foreign invaders, specifically Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong.

Brian was our guide along with his support staff for our Hanoi bike tour. He arranged for his support staff to pick us up by car at our hotel to take us to our lunch spot. We were treated to a delicious meal of Bun Cha. We then met Brian and he drove us to the countryside to pick up our bikes. We rode our bikes with Brian on roads that were not busy. He took us to meet an elderly Vietnamese gentleman who invited us to have tea at his home. We had a nice conversation learning about his life and his home and garden which were filled with bonsai plants. We also visited a group of ladies who made brooms by hand. It was an interesting tour of the countryside and rice fields. Brian was a very attentive host and he spoke English very well. We would recommend this tour to anyone. You don’t have to be an experienced rider. These guys were very helpful.

Interesting cultural experience outside the city. It was a hot day and our guide and helpers really took care of us. The bike ride is long, but at a good pace on mostly flat ground.

A great 1/2 day out with my guide Brian who commanded the English language better than the average British person. He was articulate and knowledgeable about Hanoi and traffic issues. The mountain bike was sturdy, but could have been presented washed and with a basket pannier on the front. An enjoyable low key day meeting the locals which was a great experience.

This tour was a good mix of experiences throughout the city and provincial areas. The guides ensured we were safe even in the busier of streets. Overall a rich and diverse set of simple Vietnamese culture

A thoroughly enjoyable morning. Picked up at my hotel and taken on the back of a scooter to the office where I met the group and we got our bikes. We then cycled off out of the city and into the countryside stopping at various points. Guides were friendly and helpful and the staff blocked all the major junctions so we always felt very safe. Nice included pho ga lunch at the end! All in all would definitely recommend this trip!

Was an awesome day out. Guides were very friendly and helpful especially as I wasn't as fit as the others. We were well protected as we rode everywhere on the streets. We went to some great places and learned a lot of info about the lifestyles of the locals. Would definitely recommend this to lots of people. Had a good lunch at the end. Thankyou very much to our guides.
