Guide was so nice. Great experience going to more off the beaten path restaurants and try different food from touristy areas. He was very knowledgeable about other things to do in Oahu as week! Would recommend for friends, families, and couples!

What travelers should know (and our guide, Victor told us) is to wear comfortable shoes because most of the tour you will be on your feet. Our guide provided water and hand wipes for our hands after we ate. There is plenty of food, so don't eat beforehand if you are not a big eater.

★★★★★ 5 / 5 The best way to actually experience Chinatown Downtown Honolulu Chinatown Food Tour • Visited with kids (ages 11 & 13) I've walked through Honolulu's Chinatown plenty of times, but this tour genuinely changed how I see it. Taking it with two kids — 11 and 13 — I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most memorable food experiences we've had on the island. The curation is what sets this apart. This isn't a tour of the obvious stuff — you're tasting fruits you've probably never seen before, trying meats prepared in ways that'll make you rethink what "comfort food" means, and actually understanding the cultural context behind what you're eating. The guide knew their stuff and made every stop feel intentional, not just a random walk with snacks. The kids were all in. I'll be honest, I expected some resistance — but they were the ones pushing to try the next thing before I'd even finished mine. There's something about the energy of Chinatown and the variety of flavors that just works for curious, adventurous eaters of any age. If you're the type who plays it safe on vacation, this tour will stretch you — in the best way. If you're already an adventurous eater, it'll reward you. Either way, it's a fantastic way to spend a few hours in a part of Honolulu that most visitors walk past without really experiencing. I highly recommend

What an amazing experience! I chaperoned a small group of high school students on this tour. Victor was an incredible host who was funny and knowledgeable--the students really liked him. He was also very easy to communicate with (we were coming on his tour directly after visiting Pearl Harbor so there were some transportation logistics that needed coordinating). He also did a great job of accommodating some dangerous food allergies in our group. Everything we tried was delicious and the students all agreed that they had a fantastic time. Highly recommended!

If you are into sashimi, poki, and freshly cooked fish (steamed &/or fried depending on the season) this is the feast for the palate! Throw in a variety of tropical fruits (dare one try durian???), pastries- savory and sweet completes a filling culinary exploration. Bring a big appetite or maybe a to-go bag.

One of the best tours we have been on! Tour is in China Town, food shops are small family owned and the food is incredible. TJ and Victor were incredible, informative and hospitable guides. We highly recommend this tour.

The guides were really informative and friendly. We’ve done 3 other food tours in other states and this one definitely gave the largest portions. We’ve never been able to take leftovers.
