1.00I had been looking forward to experiencing this journey, especially the helicopter tour over Iceland’s volcanoes. Unfortunately, due to unpredictable weather conditions in December, I wasn’t able to participate in this long-anticipated activity. Winter in Iceland is known for its dramatic beauty—but also for its ever-changing weather. This time, nature had other plans. Though I was disappointed, I’ve come to realize that better preparation and more thorough research are essential when traveling during this season. Even though I missed out this time, this setback has only strengthened my desire to return. I hope that on my next visit, I’ll finally get the chance to soar above the volcanic landscapes and witness Iceland’s raw power from the sky. Travel isn’t always about checking off every item on the itinerary—it’s also about learning to adapt, to let go, and to look forward. Here’s to better planning, clearer skies, and the dream of completing this unforgettable adventure next time.

5.00Thor was an awesome guide and pilot! We felt safe and relaxed. Due to weather conditions Thor informed us the tour we booked could not happen that day, so they complementary upgraded our tour! The tour brought us even closer to the volcanoes than we could have imagined! We had a blast and learned so much!!

5.00This was amazing!! Our pilot Thor was absolutely knowledgeable, kind and great at his job. The flight was amazing, we were able to land on the lava land and Thor picked up a couple of lava rocks and showed us what’s special in them. 10 out of 10 for our flight, from the pilot to the helicopter itself to the whole trip, everything was amazing, a must do for visiting Reykjavík for sure!
