5.00We took the Stromma Helsinki Canal Cruise - while the weather wasn't great (a bit cold and rainy) - the boat ride was very enjoyable. This sightseeing cruise took us from the South Harbor around 62 miles of picturesque coastline that extends out from the city. We cruised through some of the 330 islands that make up the archipelago. This 1.5 hour ride gave us a wonderful view of this amazing city. Highly recommend!

2.00Could not hear the recorded commentary during the cruise. Guests were seated at tables and very loud conversation was occurring throughout the trip. No attempt was made by the staff to ask guests to lower noise so that recorded commentary could be heard. There really wasn’t any interaction with staff unless you wanted to buy beverages. I would not recommend this tour.

5.00Although called 'canal cruise' this is much more than that. The boat takes you around the archipelago, passing many of the islands and providing a very interesting and informative commentary. The canal is on the return part of the journey, Although sunny on the day I sailed, there were parts where the Baltic sea was a bit windy. Nice welcome on board and very relaxed trip.

4.00It was a cold day and we went out on deck and back on board. It would have been nice if it had been a weather day! But it was nice to see Helsinki by boat. I was expecting multilingual commentary, but it was disappointing that there was only paper with the course in each language.

5.00Booked in advance online. Easy to find the start point. The boat we took was clean and quiet. The boat left right on time and as advertised the cruise lasted 90 minutes. All round a nice experience.

5.00The route is beautiful, passing islands, though narrow straits and a short canal. I really enjoyed the trip on a beautiful, sunny morning. The taped commentary was difficult to hear, but the script was available to read online, and at least it wasn’t loud enough to be intrusive on the experience. Biggest negative was the tendency of other passengers to stand up whenever anything interesting came into view, so we couldn’t see it. Overall, this was a really good trip and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Helsinki.

5.00A must do! We went in July, we stayed on the upper/outside deck even tho the weather was a bit dissapointing so even if it would rain you could still enjoy the tour! Even tho we stayed outside it was still a very relaxing and nice tour, would for sure recommend this especially when the weather is good!
