Radio Optical Observatory ROT-54
We'll see the giant radio-optical telescope (54 meter in diameter), a control room, unfinished solar power station Arev (also Herouny's project), a lot of science-related buildings and some other big antennas.
Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory
We will pass it by, but if you want we can offer you guided tour there also.

5.00Fantastic experience visiting the Herouny Telescope. Vladimir was an excellent guide and made an amazing lunch in the control room overlooking the telescope, which ended up being one of the highlights of the day. The site itself is fascinating and much more impressive in person. Also, despite some things I had read online beforehand, photography was allowed everywhere during the visit. Highly recommended for anyone interested in science, history, or unique places in Armenia.
