Although we tried local cuisine, made by local people, this was so much more than a food tour! We were immersed in the culture and food of Hoi An, visiting local family producers and chefs. We were expertly guided by Kiwi for those most wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful experience on our recent tour in Hoi An. Our guide, Swan, was incredibly informative and engaging, making the whole journey both enjoyable and insightful. One of the highlights was visiting local factories and learning about the daily lives of the people who live in Hoi An. It gave us a deeper appreciation of the culture and traditions beyond the usual tourist spots. Traveling with two small children, we were pleased that the tour was manageable with a buggy. The pace was comfortable, and we never felt rushed. Another memorable part was leaving the crowded areas of Hoi An to explore the calmer rice fields. The peaceful scenery was a refreshing contrast and allowed us to experience a quieter side of the town. Overall, this tour was a perfect balance of cultural immersion, family-friendly planning, and serene exploration. Highly recommended!

Very interesting tour, seeing the local noodle and bean sprouts factories, and learn about them and the local lives. Our guide, Kim, was very sweet and full of knowledge and stories to share. The only things that I think should be considered are: The first part of the tour was about 2 hours of visiting the factories, walk by rice fields, and visit the first food tasting - 'Ban mi'. Through all this time there was no toilet available, I think it could be changed somehow. Secondly, we are vegetarian, they said that there are vegetarian options on the tour, but except the 'Ban mi' that could had eggs instead of meat, the other meat dishes did not have any adjusted vegetarian souce other then soy, which made the dishes pretty basic (in the rice cakes and the 'cao lao' dishes the pork souce is the main source of taste). It did not felt like vegetarian options.. if there is not proper vegetarian substitute I would love to know that in advance and make an informed decision before I book the tour.

Our tour guide was Swan: she was very good and took us to a lot of great local family shops. We got to see places that we definitely would not have otherwise seen.

Brilliant tour, a real insight into Hoi An, we visited way more places that I expected - you won’t go hungry. Swan made the whole experience so easy, she was great in dealing with different food needs, and was great and making everyone feel welcome.

Xuan (Swan) is so sweet, knowledgeable, and welcoming to her guests. She shows the real and genuine side of Hoi An, learning history and culture while trying 5-6 excellent food stops.
