5.00Kim was an AMAZING guide. This tour was by far a favourite and highlight of our time in Hoi An, and likely our time in all Vietnam. A must do if you want to see local life. Kim took us to local areas we would never know how to navigate as English only speakers. We didn't see any other tourists the entire tour which was really surprising - this is a truly authentic experience and unlike other tour operators. You start the tour by visiting a bean sprout farm and noodle maker and learn how each is made. Kim was very knowledgeable and gave lots of insight walking us through each process. She brought us to the rice fields and local market outside of ancient town. She was very patient with all of our questions and sharing parts of her life as well as the average rural versus city life for Vietnamese people. It's worth noting this tour does not go into the heart of ancient town or talk about the history of ancient town. This focuses on the life of locals today and trying authentic food not specifically made/modified for tourists. We are so glad we found this tour and had Kim as a guide. Thank you Kim!!

5.00We had a wonderful afternoon with Swan in Hoi An — from beginning to end, everything was simply fantastic. Her English is excellent, and she has an impressive knowledge of local life and culture. Swan showed us a side of Hoi An that most tourists never see, taking us through peaceful neighborhoods and everyday scenes away from the crowds. She gave us plenty of freedom while explaining everything with great insight and warmth. We felt completely at ease and well taken care of the whole time. Without a doubt, she’s the best guide we’ve had in years!

5.00Had a brilliant morning with Kiwi, seeing a different side of Hoi An to the usual tourist spots. It was great seeing the noodles being made and the bean sprouts growing and then being able to eat these later on! Kiwi was so kind and made the tour perfect.

5.00So glad we did this tour. Our boys said it was the highlight of our trip. This tour was a deep dive into Vietnamese culture. Our guide Swan explained the history and traditions behind every dish, from the specific herbs used to the stories of the families who have been running these stalls for generations. We visited local market and learned about daily life in Hoi An. The portions were generous and every bite was delicious. Make sure you come hungry!!!
