5.00My guide Swan was very friendly and sweet! She showed me around many hidden alleys and fed me very well along the way. I’m very full at the end of the tour 😆 Swan also took a lot of great photos - good memories to look back on! This tour route is definitely off the beaten path. I would recommend if you have half day free time in Hoi An and want to explore some authentic local lifestyle.

5.00I’m so happy that I was able to join the Hidden Gem of Old Hanoi tour. It was so much fun!! Swan was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, hardworking, and full of energy, always with a smile. She was also super attentive, and the tour itself was thoughtfully designed to create great memories, lots of photos, plenty of tastings, and even a heartwarming gift at the end. I learned not only about the food but also about Hanoi and Vietnamese culture and history. One of the highlights was having a Hanoi specialty noodle, Cao Lau, at a restaurant that uses ingredients from the places we visited during the tour. The tour feeds you well too, I left with a very happy, full stomach! 🤤 So if you’re thinking about doing it, DEFINITELY do it! But make sure you come hungry! 😂

5.00We had an amazing experience exploring Da Nang with Swan! She is incredibly knowledgeable and has clearly put a lot of heart into the itinerary. The tour is meticulously planned; every stop feels intentional and builds perfectly toward the main dishes. What sets this tour apart is the seamless blend of Vietnamese history and culture. There was never a dull moment; Swan kept the entire group engaged and the conversation interesting from start to finish. It’s the perfect balance—you learn so much without it feeling like a lecture, and there is enough time to walk and digest between food spots. Swan is extremely detail-oriented and even surprised us with thoughtful gifts at the end. If you want a well-paced tour in Da Nang, this is it!

5.00We took the food tour with Swan, it was a great experience. Swan was very engaging and at the outset created a congenial atmosphere for all members of the tour. She combined visits to sites where some of the raw sources of food were derived (noodle makers, sprout producers), and then to various restaurants/foodcarts/vendors where the actual foods were prepared and consumed. The tour took us to places we would have never found on our own and gave us a greater connection to the lives, livelihoods and food of regular Vietnamese. It was a delicious and delightful experience.
