• A truly heart warming experience

  This tour turned out to be one of the most genuine and unforgettable local travel experiences during our trip, and the biggest highlight of our entire journey was our incredibly warm, friendly local guide, Swan. With a sunny personality and rich local knowledge, Swan made every moment of our 3-hour tour relaxed, enjoyable and feel like home. Unlike ordinary rushed sightseeing trips, We started the trip with visiting a series of local family-owned factories. These small, family-run workshops are hidden in local residential areas and are rarely known to ordinary tourists. Under Swan’s detailed and vivid introduction, we learned about the local traditional craftsmanship, production procedures, and the stories behind these inherited family businesses. We also enjoyed a leisurely neighborhood walking to learn about the plants, also tasted local favorites ( loved Xima and the Bahn Mi).   Thuy was such an amazing host! This was by far my favorite experience in Vietnam- if you are thinking about it it’s a must do! It was just us two and I really got to know her as well as the local life here in Vietnam. Also delicious food and coffee along the way!

  The tour with Swan was an incredible view into the daily life of non-touristy parts of Hoi An. It was very interesting learning about the history and culture of Vietnam and Hoi An and I’d recommend it to anyone in addition to the standard tourist options the city has to offer

  This was the most amazing experience. A huge thankyou to our guide Thuy who is a thoughtful, intelligent, kind, outgoing person mixed with energy and enthusiasm! She is perfect for this job and genuinely seems to love her work. I learnt so much about Vietnamese culture and really liked the choice of places we visited . The food and drinks were of a very high standard. The back streets were so interesting and the fact that everything was in walking distance made it such a wonderful worthwhile experience.   If I could give this experience 50,000 stars I would. We had the most magical time with Thuy. Thuy shared her knowledge and her culture with us taking us through hidden backstreets that tourist don’t normally get to experience. Thuy was kind thoughtful, and considerate throughout the entire experience.. The food and drink we had was plentiful and delicious. This has been our favourite thing that we have done in Hoi An.   Swan's food tour was absolutely fantastic and easily one of the best food tours I've had. What sets it apart is the unique format: instead of just sampling dishes, we actually got to visit the places where the food is made and meet the owners themselves. Seeing their craft and passion in person added a whole layer of depth you just don't get on a typical food tour. Then we got to go to the places to eat that used their food. The food itself was outstanding at every stop, and our guide did a great job pacing things and adding context along the way. It felt less like a tour and more like being let in on a local secret. Highly recommend if you want an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at where your food actually comes from and ejoy great local food.

  An extraordinary experience. Swan took us on a journey, seeing how all of the ingredients are grown and manufactured, culminating in some delicious culinary delights. Her deep local understanding stands out, and I feel like I had a truly insiders view of this remarkable city and its cuisine. Book it and come hungry - you’ll end it full and happy!

  Our guide, Swan, was great. The tour was very engaging and we had a lot of good food (especially the banh mi). She was really nice and really helped us navigate Hoi An.
