• Memorable Tour We Will Not Forget!

  This tour was one of the best tours we have ever been on!!! Angel, the tour guide, went above and beyond in terms of making this a personalized experience tailored to our needs. In particular, he helped with guiding my wife, who has some health and balance issues, through some harder parts of the trails, spring, and swallow cave, with great care and consideration. The tour is private and includes transportation to and from the destinations. Angel has deep knowledge of many aspects of Puerto Rico, and provided fascinating tips and facts throughout not only the sites themselves, but also the rides to them. His passion is clearly evident in everything he does and shows you. The sites themselves were very interesting, far beyond what you read in the description. One of the coolest things was Cueva de las Golondrinas (swallow cave), where we were able to see a bunch of little swallows in their nests in the caves, go in the water inside the cave opening, and travel to the top of the cave where we could see the water crashing in from above. Another interesting thing we did was hiked a trail and went in a spring that is popular with locals to hang out in (a group was there when we arrived and was very friendly). HIGHLY recommend this tour! It was an extremely memorable experience we will not forget!

  Angel was an excellent tour guide. He personalized our trip to ensure we could see a bit extra when the hike didn’t take us as long as expected. We saw sights we would have missed without him. He was able to point out wildlife that wasn’t to us and spectacular.   Angel was an excellent guide. He came with a driver to monitor our belongings in the car so we didn’t have to bring everything with us. The sights we saw we would not have found without his assistance. He was an excellent resource for other things in Puerto Rico to accomplish during our visit.   We had an unforgettable experience on our tour in Puerto Rico, thanks to our amazing guides, Angel and Annie. Visiting the Cueva de los Golondrinas was a breathtaking adventure, made even more special by their expertise and enthusiasm. Angel went above and beyond when he saved an injured iguana from drowning, showcasing his genuine care for the local wildlife. Both Angel and Annie were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured we had a memorable and enjoyable time. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Puerto Rico's natural beauty!

  My husband and I, along with our three children (ages 14/9/5) and my husband's parents, travelled to Puerto Rico for the first time for 10 nights in June 2021. I reached out to Tours Your Way PR ahead of our trip and ended up booking pretty much all of our transfers and tours through their company: 1) SJU-hotel arrival transfer, 2) The Old, The New and the Now: The Updated San Juan City Tour, 3) Hidden Gems of the North Tour, 4) From the Concrete Jungle to the Actual Jungle Tour (which doubled as a transfer from our hotel in Old San Juan to our resort on another part of the island), and 5) resort-SJU departure transfer. I could not have been more pleased with their service! Annie coordinated our itinerary and arranged all of our bookings and tours; Angel was with us every step of the way providing detailed and highly personalized tour services. To review this tour: Hidden Gems of the North Tour Angel and his driver picked us up from our hotel in Old San Juan and we headed west out of the city for a full day of fun. [Full disclosure - I'm sure each of the places we visited have proper names, but I did not write them down nor could I remember them if I tried.] Our first stop was at an "urban spring", a place where a natural spring goes from under ground to above ground and flows its way towards the nearby ocean. The surrounding area has been developed as a recreational site, with food/drink vendors, swings, etc. Our next stop was "swallow cave", one of many natural caves that exist around the island. After a quick stop at a local beach, we came to the highlight of this tour (for us) ... We hiked through the mangrove and found ourselves at a secluded beach with a spectacular sea cave. We spent a couple of hours here, relaxing in the water, checking out the fish living in a tiny coral reef, and soaking in the natural beauty of this part of Puerto Rico. Even 'the grandparents' had no trouble reaching this beautiful beach and cave. Unfortunately (or fortunately if you ask my husband - LOL!), the rain set in right as we were beginning our hike back to the van waiting for us. Ever prepared, Angel had plenty of extra towels waiting for us in the van. After we made our way back in to San Juan, we stopped for lunch at a local Dominican restaurant where we had the most delicious seafood mofongo. After the tour ended, we were dropped off back at our hotel, exhausted and still a bit wet from the rain but with full bellies and full hearts after our day of fun exploring the north end of the island. We enjoyed our time in PR so much that my husband will be returning later this year (this time just the two of us), and we fully intend to utilize Tours Your Way PR again.   I loved angel and his wife. My husband and I had a wonderful time. They showed us so many beautiful gems. And they even entertained my plant obsession on our small hike! I definitely chose the perfect tour to end my vacation!! On top of that it was a private couple tour (you guys should definitely let that be known) Can't wait too see them again! Love...........   This was the best tour of San Juan that we’ve ever experienced. Angel was very knowledgeable, insightful and had a good sense of humor. He had a great understanding of the Puerto Rican society and what’s currently happening in the new, the old and the now San Juan.
