We pick you up from the hotel and go to the Kakheti region. We have wine tasting on the way in the biggest winery KTW, where we taste 5 types of wines and then continue the way to explore Bodbe Monastery and Signagi-city of Love. Only this tour gives you the possibility to explore Signagi completely and have enough time to feel the city of love. This is not a traditional tour, which is asking you always follow to guide and listen to him. No, You have 100% freedom in Signagi and have almost a full day to visit small local wineries, Museums, wedding houses, Enjoy Zipline, Have lunch at any terrace with incomparable views, relax and take amazing photos, walk a lot and meet new friends. Don’t forget to take swimming suits with you, because here you can find places, which have swimming pools with unforgettable views. End of the day you can stay in Signagi or at any other hotel located in Kakheti and book a private transfer for your next day. Also, You can return to Tbilisi on the same day.

What To Expect

We pick you up at 11:00 am from your living place
Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking Factory (Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking” is one of the largest wine and spirits producing companies in Georgia and the Caucasus region. Established in 2001, KTW produces wine, brandy, sparkling wine, and chacha with traditional Georgian techniques mixed with the state of art technologies. This allows the company to preserve an old, unique taste of wine and create its own signature style to spread to the world. We will have the possibility to visit the Wine factory and try 5 types of Georgian wine and 10 years of Brandy. Advice: •Take your bottle of water to drink it between wine tasting. •In a wine factory can be low temperature so take your jackets. •Chkhaveri – White Dry Wine. KTW’s signature wine “Chkhaveri” dates back to 1880 to the village Askana, where wine-maker Antimoz Chkhaidze founded one of the most prominent wine cellars of that period. He used unique grapes in that region and made a brand new wine type. He named it: “Chkhaveri”.

5.00I generally do not leave reviews when a tour is acceptable, only when the tour is problematic, but here we have an exception. I booked this private one on one tour not understanding I could be part of a small group instead, but this turned out perfect! Nika was a perfect companion- happy, smart, fine English and understood we should not be doing a run of the mill tour. We made unplanned stops, laughed and shared great music playlists-exactly what I wanted: a non- tour tour!! Thanks Nika- a great experience!!!

4.00A great way to spend the day outside Tbilisi. Ample time allocated per stop. Gives you a good sense of the Georgian history and culture. Givi was an awesome guide, we had a lot of fun and he’s also nice with young kids.

5.00We booked a private tour for our first trip to Kakheti region. It was splendid! Our guide Dima and Abel were fantastic. They made us laugh out every point and gave us full information on all the stops. They were very respectful and helpful, never had a dull moment with both of them. The wines were really tasty too. I would totally recommend this trip, it’s a must visit while staying in Georgia.

5.00Loved it! the tour gide was super attentive and friendly, I could say that he introduced us to some hidden gems of the area: we tasted factory wines (delicious), home-made wines (even more delicious), baked our own bread, played with puppies, walked through the great wall of Georgia and even had a bonus-tasting of local drinks. I recommend! 11/10
