Are you looking for a short and memorable adventure ? Old Orhei complex, Curchi Monastery and Cricova wine cellars is the best option for you!
We will start the tour with one of the most beautiful Monastery in Moldova - “Curchi”, a real pearl of our religious life.
Next on our itinerary is Old Orhei, the most famous sight of the country. Here you will visit archaeological sites dating from 4th century and authentic houses (Butuceni village).
Visit of the Cave Monastery which was expanded and modified inside the cliffs by monks over the centuries. Enjoy the magnificent scenery through the windows of the monastery.
After the tour of the Cave Monastery, we will take you to Cricova Wine Cellars. You will see over seventy streets covering a distance of 120km, each bearing Bacchic names: Sauvignon, Cabernet, etc.
Wine tasting is not including. You can choose the package and pay at the winery (Cash or Card):
1. Tour + 1 wine = 24 EURO per person
2. Tour + 4 wines = 39 EURO per person

The temperature in the wine cellars is about + 12 Celsius (52 F), therefore you need to have with you some worm clothes.

Chisinau
Meet and greet in Chisinau. 1 hour drive to Churchi Monastic Complex.
Manastirea Curchi
We will start the tour with one of the most beautiful Monastery in Moldova, “Curchi”. This is a real pearl of our religious life. Here you’ll visit some churches, and among them – the “Virgin’s Assumption” Cathedral, built by the drawings of genius architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli.

Oleg is exceptionally knowledgable, friendly, and punctual, ensuring that the tour goes smoothly and is informative. I really appreciated the attention to detail as well as the well-thought out itinerary. 5.00Oleg came out if his way to collect me as I was not inside the standard pick area. He was friendly with great knowlege of Moldova , its history and geography. The day was conducted at a good pace, Oleg took time to ask all his guests about who we where which was a nice touch. The Mux of Churches, the valley and thd wine tour was a great alternative to seeing just Chisinau and is a good day out to give you more perspective to Moldovian culture and its people

5.00We had an amazing day discovering some very cool places in Moldova. Curchi Monastery, Old Orhei and Cricova are definitely worth to visit! We also enjoyed the lunch at a tradicional restaurant in Butuceni. Our guide Marina was very friendly and passionate about her job. She shared with us many interesting informations and stories about Moldova and we really had a great time in her company!

5.00We had a great day with Oleg, our tour guide, and 3 others on the tour. The schedule got rearranged and the tour lasted more than 8 hours due to traffic, so it's good to be flexible. Oleg was knowledgeable, funny, and exuded good energy throughout the whole day. We learned so much about the places we visited as well as about Moldovan culture in general.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with a great tour guide Corneliu. The monastery was in a beautiful setting and the church was inspiring. The caves at Orhei were fascinating to see. Really enjoyable lunch on our own at an Eco Resort. ( soup , bread and wine). On to the classy winery Cricova. Had the underground tour with wine tasting which was amazing considering the setting. Returned to our hotel after a full, enjoyable day. Corneliu gave a great historical perspective of Moldova and answered our questions honestly and openly. We liked him so much we booked him for a tour the following day!
