I was very impressed by this high-speed service between Valletta and Gozo. For those who might be going to or from the Malta airport, the TD4 bus service between Valletta and the airport stops nearby. Tickets were very easily bought at the kiosks and we were please to get the Senior fare (3 Euros each one way). We arrived 30 minutes before departure to Gozo and already the queue was about 20-30 deep. Boarding started about 15-20 minutes before departure and it was a fairly full trip (we were on the 0945). Several people had suitcases and there was an area to store those. Views were lovely and the voyage was not at all choppy. I noticed nobody feeling unwell. The return was just as good. We had not bought our return ticket in advance because we did not know how long we would stay in Gozo, but we managed to get tickets for the departure 30 minutes away. A lovely sea voyage that helped towards a superb day.

This fabulous service from Malta to Gozo is incredibly quick, smooth, the seating is comfortable & it's worth every penny to get to Gozo so quickly. The timetable is great, with a boat every 45 minutes past the hour, so one every hour to and from Valletta to Gozo. Absolutely perfect!

Ferry is fast, but pricey not for the faint of heart. Sit towards the rear if you don't have sea legs. Don't buy the hop on hop off ticket. It really isn't good value, pricey and the local buses are cheaper. Two adults including hop on hop off was 60 euros. too much for what it was.

A quick way to travel from Gozo directly into Valetta. We wondered why most passengers were sitting in the back, and wish we'd read the info before rather than after our trip. Middle, back is the best place for minimum discomfort it says. The ferry travels really fast - well it is called Highspeed. It was one of the longest 45 minutes of my life. We sat in the front, to the left. Talk about bumpy, I felt so sick. I spent the entire journey clutching a sick bag and mopping my brow, tho my husband was not affected. It docks in Valetta harbour, and is perfect for getting out and about in the city. There were alterations going on at the time, and no toilets that we could find at the quay. We came home by bus & car ferry, which took two & a half hours, but a much calmer experience.

No problem with the ride itself, but not very comfortable to redeem the voucher - cashiers stared for a long time at our online reservation and didn’t look very happy. Perhaps at high season it would make sense to reserve in advance, but for our trip didn’t seem necessary.

The service is very bad. I do not recommend taking this ferry. The air conditioning was set too high and we were freezing. We got off the boat sick. On top of that, the staff working on the ferry are disrespectful and rude, providing terrible customer service.”

We wanted to go and explore for a few hours GOZO and staying in an apartment just 20 mins walk from the High Speed terminal booked 2 return tickets and literally got on the next crossing just 4 mins before it embarked. At 6 euros per person return (60 + year olds) Amazingly good value. Journey was faultless,
