What To Expect

Meet in front of the sculpture of Adolf Thomsen next to Tromsø Cathedral in the city center at 18.55 pm and look for the driver and van. When finished at the cable car, return with the 21.30 Pm cable car down from the mountain and look for your driver and van when coming down with the cable car. We only use modern vehicles and experienced and nice drivers. On the way to the Cable car start point you will drive through the city of Tromsø and on the Tromsø bridge over the fjord called Breisundet. On the way you will also pass the iconic Arctic Cathedral. For us it´s important to bring you safe and nice to and from this amazing location. Your alternative is searching for local busses, but we think it´s easier for you with a package including safe, nice transfer and cable car tickets.

We prebooked this fishing trip for a group of 10 prior to arriving in Norway. We had a phenomenal guide called Raole and the sailor lady was called Sandrine. Both were very engaging with the group and had plenty to teach us about during the tour. The lovely guides ensured the large group stayed together as 1 and was not split into 2 groups, which made it even more memorable. Was done some fishing and Raole cooked us a lovely fish soup and a vegetarian option also which tasted amazing and was very much appreciated as it was cold. We had snacks throughout the journey and plenty warm drinks. We saw penguin's in their natural habitats and many other wildlife. Would highly recommend tour and would visit again!

We wanted to see the northern lights and went up in the evening. The attraction is open until 1:30 am. We went up and... we were in the clouds. While halfway up the cable car was still visible. A big disappointment because you saw nothing. We went back down again within half an hour. An expensive joke because you don't get your money back and it is not indicated in advance that it will be cloudy.
