Lake Bovilla

Begin your tour with pickup from your accommodation and set out on a scenic drive to Lake Bovilla. Discover the patterns of life in suburban Tirana as you pass through the city on your way to the countryside. As you approach Lake Bovilla, see the lake's impressive dam. Admire the lake's shimmering teal and turquoise waters, nestled at the base of Gamti Mountain. Head up to the hiking track to begin your ascent of the mountain, soaking up the nature atmosphere.
After about 40 minutes of hiking, reach the balcony of the mountain and observe the expansive, rolling forest and hills stretching out before you. At your feet, gaze in wonder at the stunning views of Lake Bovilla. Breathe in the fresh mountain air on your cheeks in a setting of pure natural beauty. Trail details : Min Altitude : 460 m Max Altitude : 620 m Elevation: 160 m Distance up and down : 1.95 km ( 0,97 km one way) Pause to sip water and chat in the shadows of a mountain cave before descending the mountain along the same route. FREE TIME: During the tour, the guide will give you free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bovilla Lake. You can use this time to have your own snacks or drinks, or choose to enjoy lunch at the restaurant there.

5.00It was a very enjoyable tour. Our Guide Paola did a great job in giving us some interesting information and made it really fun to learn more about Albania. The hike itself was still manageable for people not hiking that often and it offered a wonderful view over the mountains and the lake.

5.00We had a lovely day visiting Mount Gamti. Everything was thoroughly planned and not only did we get to enjoy an awsome view from the mountain top, but also lots of interesting information about the country itself from our nice tourguide paola. We can highly recommend the hike!

5.00We had a really nice trip! Although you spend a big part of the hike in the bus, going to the mountain and the hike itself is rather short we really enjoyed the trip! Not only was the view from the mountain very nice, but also Paola, our guide, was such a lovely person ☺️ There were several stops and also a restaurant with delicious food on our way. The hike itself was not too hard, only the last part of it was a little more challenging, but definitely not impossible

5.00What a tour! Tour guide definitely kept us entertained and made you laugh. His humour probably kept us calm but prepared for the hike up Gamti mountain.. The views of Bovilla lake was spectacular 👌🏾!! I must say that was one experience up Gamti mountain, the hike up wasn't too bad but I just kept saying to myself, how the heck will I get down but what a view!! Definitely worth the trip..
