What To Expect
Lake Bovilla
The lake of Bovilla lies on the northeastern side of Tirana, between two mountain ranges. It provides most of the drinking water for Tirana at it is surround by a green nature. Because it is surrounded by mountains and forest, the color of the water looks green to blue .
The trail to hike at Gamti mountain balcony, is a simple level where every step gives you a more beautiful view as you reach the top. Hiking uphill lasts about 40 minutes. At the balcony there is an impressive view of the lake and the green hills surrounding it. Time to rest, to enjoy the gorgeous view to talk and to eat food under the shadows of the cave. Returning to the same track takes about 30 minutes. Hikign trail details: Min Altitude : 460 m Max Altitude : 620 m Elevation: 160 m Distance up and down : 1.95 km ( 0,97 km one way)

5.00Our guide Fjona was great! Really helpful all along the trip. It was a bit too hot so if you plan on going try to avoid the Summer heat and if you cannot do otherwise be sure ti take a swimsuit with you so you can take a swim in the lake and freshen up a bit 😊
