When you arrive at the Lush Excursions office in Marigot Bay, you will meet with your Guide who will provide you with a bottle of water and brief you on the hike. You then proceed to get on a ferry to take a short 5 minute ferry ride to the north side of the bay. Hike the Billy Goat Trail which traverses a mangrove and then up the hillside where you will see indigenous plants including flora and fauna, hermit crabs, and birds that call the trail home. Enjoy some of the fruits that are in season such as wild berries and cherries and smell the sweet aroma of the blooming flowers and the leaves of sweet bay. When we get to the top of the ridge, you will see the entire Marigot Bay, Roseau Valley, Roseau Beach and as far back as Mount Gimie and Gros Piton expand before you. We descend after this 2 hour long hike and move to the beach to do watersports for about 1 hour. Engage in hobie cat sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, snorkeling or simply sun bathing if you prefer this option. After about an hour, you wash up and then get ready to take the short ferry ride back to the south side of the bay. You are transferred back to cruise terminal/hotel or meeting point.
