What To Expect

Departing from the Pas de Bellecombe car park, we descend into the Fouqué enclosure to walk on the recent lava from the active volcano. We move off-trail, a privilege reserved for mountain professionals, for an exclusive discovery of the volcano! On the program: Formica Léo, 2018 and 2019 flows, Bory crater, Dolomieu crater, La Soufrière. Hike reserved for people who are comfortable on varied terrain. Sticks strongly recommended. A good understanding of French is necessary to participate in this activity. Recommended minimum age: 12 years old. For any child under 12, please contact us for more information. We cannot accept minors under the age of 18 unaccompanied by an adult.
