What To Expect
We will first drive to the start of the trail, where we will begin our hike to the summit of Šmarna gora, which is 2195 feet high. The hike will take about 45 minutes. We will then take a look around the summit where the famous pilgrimage church of Our Lady is located. Lunch with Slovenian traditional dishes follows. After lunch we return the same route back to the valley, the hike will take about 45 minutes. Driving back to your hotel.

5.00My guide was Alenka. She met me at the hotel from there we went to the start of the hike. My recommendation is wear good shoes - no flip flops. Most of the time you are in the shade. There are some steep parts but take your time. Alenka even had hiking poles for me. The poles were great for the way done. Once you get to the top the view is outstanding. Lunch is provided at the top. Highly recommend!
