The Tamarind Falls, also called the 7 cascades, is an enjoyable hike in the heart of the island. Our 3 hours guided hike is a highlight of the best waterfalls on the spot.
Surrounded by lush green forests and dark volcanic rocks, we progress on single tracks and open areas offering astonishing views upon the falls and the canyons.
During the walk, we have the possibility to enjoy a nice swim in the natural pool that water has carved in the rock, and appreciate a natural massage under the cascades.
Please note that this is not a flat hike; it involves traversing varied terrain with both ascents and descents over rocky surfaces and steep sections with roots. You may encounter challenging and technical parts along the trail. In some instances, you may need to rely on your hands for support, using branches or tree roots to navigate through these sections.

We had a great trek guided by Henri. He helped us navigate the difficult parts of the trail. The views are beautiful and we had a nice swim stop at the quieter fourth waterfall.

Hiking 2.5km, ~3h. Accessible to retirees as well as children but you must have a good physical condition because you must be ready to go down, up, squat, all in a forest environment. The walking rhythm is accessible, several stops are planned (photos, swimming, and if necessary small breaks to recover some strength. The Eliza guide is very nice, it adapts easily to the conditions of everyone and will answer all your questions. Don't forget your water bottle!

We got to know Rowin our guide. It was great throughout the seven waterfalls excursion. He is very attentive and takes the time to explain the history of the country and the waterfalls while putting a touch of humor. I recommend 100% this adventure with this guide.

This adventure turned out to be one of the most exciting and memorable experiences I've had on the island! Our guide, Paj, was there to help us along the entire route. He told us about the waterfalls, answered all our questions, and took lots of amazing photos! This is important to me, as I am traveling alone. This wasn't just an organized tour on paved paths, but a true jungle trek! :)

The hike was guided by Paj, a sympathetic cheerful local, who could tell us a lot of details about nature next to our trail. He was very aware of the different experience levels of our hiking group and was always on point with a helping hand to assist where necessary. Paj showed us the breathtaking landscapes of the Tamarind Falls. The hike itself felt like an intermediate level, there are lots of branches and roots to hold on to when it's getting steep. At the bottom there was a natural pool where we could rest and even go for a swim. All in all it was a great experience, which we would recommend to people who love being out in nature.

A very enjoyable morning in the falls. Guide Paj was very calm patient and helped my wife through all the tricky bits. Would definitely recommend Paj and this trip. He appreciates the natural quiet surroundings unlike another tour who seemed to want to make as much noise as possible. Paj also took photos for us at some of the vertigo inducing spots!
