Starting from Bogota we will drive some kilometers behind the Bogotá´s east hills going up until 3.400 meters a.s.l and crossing the Andes peaks to arrive in a bit warmer and lower area 45 minutes from Bogotá.
See the native forest for 1 kilometer and half, watching our exotic native ecosystem to finally see La Chorrera Waterfall with 590 ms of high.
When you get to this beautiful waterfall you will have the opportunity to relax a bit, enjoy the view and take some pictures before we go back.

What To Expect
Starting from Bogota we will drive some kilometers behind the Bogotá´s east hills going up until 3.400 meters a.s.l and crossing the Andes peaks to arrive in a bit warmer and lower area 45 minutes from Bogotá. Our guide and you will do a hiking through natural scenery and mountains to discover the base of the first waterfall, El Chiflon. You’ll have the opportunity to walk behind the waterfall and touch it. Then we will keep going through the native forest for 1 kilometer and half, watching our exotic native ecosystem to finally see La Chorrera Waterfall with 590 ms of high. When you get to this beautiful waterfall you will have the opportunity to relax a bit, enjoy the view and take some pictures before we go back. After the visit of La Chorrera waterfall you’ll be back at the starting point where we will offer you the lunch with ingredients harvest by local farmers and then we will drive back to Bogotá.

5.00The tour staff were fantastic, Saraí, Jorge, Mr Megal, Felipe and the driver who drives the van were really helpful and did a amazing job to make us feel comfortable. I have to give a huge thank you to Saraí though as she was the best you can ask for, such a nice girl and fantastic tour guide. My girlfriend and I did 4 long day tours and everything was great. I would recommend them to do the tours as they were always on time and all the staff went above their pay grade to make it a trip to enjoy. Regards Danny and Denisa

5.00We used Bogotravel agency for first and emerald tour in Bogota which was super informative and interesting. We also used the agency for a day trip hiking to Chorrera water falls about 1,5 hours outside Bogota which was an unforgettable day. The guides were terrific, spoke really well English and the nature that surrounded us was stunning. A great break from the city buzz. We highly recommend the trip.

5.00This company offers the perfect tours for solo travelers. I came to Bogotá by myself to visit some friends, but wanted to do some outdoorsy site seeing during the day. My guide, Camila, picked me up right on time at my hotel and we began our journey to La Chorrera. Both her and my driver Rafael were great! The hike was also nice because only about 5 other people were there. Camila shared information about the plant life and the waterfall, as well as the village surrounding the area. This is perfect for solo travel as you can go at your own pace and stop to take breaks. After the hike, we enjoyed a nice lunch at a restaurant towards the bottom of the trail. Camila was so sweet and informative, also very easy to talk to and I am so happy to have had her as my guide! During this time of year, the waterfall is a bit dry, however the views are still worth the hike! I recommend using this company if you are a solo traveler as they also offer the best prices.
