5.00We were delighted with our tour! Gajender met us at the ship port and spent the entire day providing an informational and fascinating experience about Hiroshima. He is extremely knowledgeable and was always concerned that we were seeing and understanding all that we came to see and learn about. He got us from one place to another seamlessly (either on the tram or via taxe!i) and was very communicative pre- and post-tour. Our thirst for learning about Hiroshima and Miyajima was fulfilled beautifully. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Gajender!!

5.00John was such an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and we loved hearing about his life experiences and background. We took the bikes around the city which we were nervous about as some members hadn't ridden in a while, but it was so fun and seamless!

5.00Kazuko is the best! Squeezed 8 hours of sightseeing into 6 hours effectively and kept us informed and entertained. We did a day trip from Kyoto so it was great having a private guide to steer us through the many historic and fascinating sights in Hiroshima.

5.00Our day was managed entirely by our guide, Gajender. He was engaging, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The exhibits in the peace park are not to be missed. Altho very serious, we felt it was important to bear witness. Miwajima is not to be missed...well worth the effort of getting there. It's beautiful, try to visit near sunset in a nice day. Overall, a very enjoyable day!

5.00We met our guide Kazuko at our hotel. She was extremely nice and told us a lot of interesting stories about Miyajima Island, the Itsukushima Shrine, Otorii Gate and after we went back to Hiroshima of course a lot about the Atomic bomb Memorial Site. For lunch she showed us a place with a Sushi carousel which was great fun, especially for the kids. Kazuko was - as said before - extremely nice and knowledgeable. It was - if you are able to be say that about such an emotionally moving place - a great experience. We can highly recommend Kazuko!

5.00Fast paced and detailed tour. Lots of WWII history with much to envision. Ferry ride was great. The island of Miyajima was fabulous. Our tour guide (Kazuko Mensing) was fantastic! She shared so much history it was wonderful and educational. Great exprrience!. Not to be missed.

5.00John was an excellent guide, using the journey on the street car to explain lots about Miyajima, its temple and origins. It was very busy as it was festival day, but John kept us moving through the crowds. We visited the temple before having an excellent lunch in a tempura restaurant. We saw many treasures in the museum. Over lunch he started explanation of Japanese history which continued on the streetcar back to the Peace Park. His wife joined us and led us through the A bomb events. Her mother was a survivor so the exhibitions had extra poignance. They were both so attentive, and also returned my list umbrella to the hotel later that evening. A fabulous day. Thanks.
