This value-packed trip with a licensed and experienced English-speaking tour guide is a fantastic and efficient way to explore both Hiroshima and Miyajima!
To start your day, meet your tour guide at your hotel, then visit famous sites such as Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Shukkeien Japanese garden, and Hiroshima Castle. Your guide will customize your private tour in detail according to your interests.
Eight-hours is the perfect amount of time to check out both Hiroshima and Miyajima island. We strongly suggest visiting both places when you come to this part of Japan.
24 Pass for Ferry and streetcar transportation is 900 Yen for adults, 450 yen for children.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park (平和記念公園, Heiwa Kinen Kōen) is one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters. Its trees, lawns, and walking paths are in stark contrast to the surrounding downtown area. Before the bomb, the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the pilot's target. Four years to the day after the bomb was dropped, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead devoted to peace memorial facilities. Admission Fee: ¥200

5.00TL:DR - We had a wonderful time. Our guide Hiroko Hayashi was fantastic and made the experience much more informative and special. Highly recommended. Detail: our guide Hiroko met us at our hotel and we traveled to Miyajima. She is very knowledgeable and added lots of information and detail that really enriched the experiences. She answered my many questions very well and was both kind and gracious. Next we had a delicious okonomiyaki lunch together and then took the streetcar to the atomic dome, various parts of peace park, and the peace park museum. Again Hiroko added lots of information and stories that made the visit much more meaningful than could be achieved on our own. The story of Sadako Sasaki was especially moving and Hiroko had even folded cranes for us to donate. By the time we left the museum, it was getting late but Hiroko kindly took us to see the Hiroshima castle and then the wonderful Shukkeien gardens. Hiroko was a great guide and was very willing to adjust to meet our preferences. The whole day was highly worthwhile and we enthusiastically recommend both the trip and especially our guide Hiroko Hayashi.

5.00This was one of the highlights of Japan. Our tour guide was a young man who was professional,knowledgeable & made this a great experience. Miyajima was a must see,the wild but docile deer & the Floating gate made this a special stop.

5.00Our guide shortened his name to Nob. He was amazing. Early to the meeting point, communication ahead of the tour was punctual and during the tour Nob was outstanding. We have taken a dozen guided tours over several countries and Nob was the best by far. He is the “gold” standard to any guide. With all the praise in the world he is worth it. We would book any tour led by Nob.
