This value-packed trip with a licensed and experienced English-speaking tour guide is a fantastic and efficient way to explore both Hiroshima and Miyajima!
To start your day, meet your tour guide at your hotel, then visit famous sites such as Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Shukkeien Japanese garden, and Hiroshima Castle. Your guide will customize your private tour in detail according to your interests.
Eight-hours is the perfect amount of time to check out both Hiroshima and Miyajima island. We strongly suggest visiting both places when you come to this part of Japan.
24 Pass for Ferry and streetcar transportation is 900 Yen for adults, 450 yen for children.

Please note that the duration of this tour has been changed from 7 hours to 8 hours, effective November 6th, 2024. If your reservation was made before November 6th, 2024, your tour will still be 7 hours and you will be charged for the 7 hour tour only. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park (平和記念公園, Heiwa Kinen Kōen) is one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters. Its trees, lawns, and walking paths are in stark contrast to the surrounding downtown area. Before the bomb, the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the pilot's target. Four years to the day after the bomb was dropped, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead devoted to peace memorial facilities. Admission Fee: ¥200

5.00Our private tour of Miyajima and Hiroshima was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Japan. Mai brought Miyajima’s history, culture, and significance to life in a way that would have been impossible to experience on our own. We especially appreciated being shown some quieter spots away from the crowds. In Hiroshima Mai provided thoughtful and detailed historical context and helped us better understand the city’s remarkable story of tragedy, resilience, and renewal. The Peace Memorial Park and Museum were incredibly powerful experiences, and having an expert guide who is from the city made the visit even more meaningful. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan. It was an unforgettable day that combined stunning scenery, fascinating history, and exceptional guiding. 5.00Yoko was our tour guide in Hiroshima , We had an amazing experience with her, she is knowledgeable, friendly, and made every part of the trip enjoyable and stress-free. From explaining local history and culture to recommending hidden gems and great, stores for some shopping, that we loved! She went above and beyond. Her English was excellent. Thanks to her , we experienced Hiroshima and it’s history in a much deeper and more meaningful way. Highly recommend for anyone visiting, Yoko you were 10 out 10, thank you so much. BTW the best ice cream.

5.00Lisa Y. Did an amazing job. We had good communication prior to trip and she customized the tour to fit our interests. The day of she provided a detailed and thorough tour! The food recommendations were great as well. Lunch was amazing and we even stopped for drinks and some amazing maple leaf pancakes. We would highly recommend this tour and Lisa!!

5.00Keiko met us at our hotel for a 9am start. We found her very friendly and her English was excellent. During the course of the tour her knowledge of The events of Hiroshima before and after the bombing was of great benefit to us. Also her wealth of knowledge of Miyajima and the shrines made the trip well worth the visit. Keiko also pointed out certain places of interest along the way which we found very useful as well. 5.00Wonderful day on Miyajima and in Hiroshima. We had an absolutely amazing day with Minori! Even before the tour started, the service was outstanding: she contacted us via WhatsApp to ask about our wishes and preferences to tailor the day perfectly for us. She was a fantastic guide with a Lot of knowledge. A major highlight was that she went out of her way to reserve seats right at the counter of an Okonomiyaki restaurant for us, so we could watch the food being prepared up close. Even the rain couldn't ruin our mood – in fact, it made the island beautifully uncrowded and quiet. Thank you, Minori, for this unforgettable day! We highly recommend booking with her!

From his greeting to us on our arrival at Hiroshima station to saying good-bye at the same location 8 hours later, he gave us wonderful perspectives of both locations as well as sharing his knowledge of the sights we saw.

5.00Nori-san was patient, a well of stories, and shared freely of his home city during our tour of Hiroshima. He was very detailed in the itinerary, cost breakdown, duration, and flexibility in customisation, both before and during our tour. He went the extra mile to provide the best customer service we could ever ask for. My mother was elderly but we thoroughly enjoyed everywhere Nori-san brought us, with mindfulness of her limited mobility.
