From Valencia, we'll journey to Bocairent, where you'll have the opportunity to stroll through its historic streets and enjoy a leisurely coffee break.
Next, we'll venture to the picturesque rock pools at Poa Clar, where we'll pause to indulge in our picnic lunch amidst serene surroundings. Finally, we'll embark on a scenic 6 km circular hike through the Barranco de Tarrongers, featuring a 200-meter ascent. This route offers an unparalleled variety of landscapes—a breathtaking alpine ridge followed by a descent into a verdant valley adorned with a meandering river and ancient ruined water mills. It's a journey through time and nature you won't soon forget.

Covetes dels Moros
A guided tour of these ancient and tiny caves that were inhabited 700 years ago it is difficult to believe that people once lived here. Cost 4 euros not included in tour price.

Adventure excursion to Bocairent & Pou Clar Pools

5.00I did this excursion in the month of February with Howard. It was a combination of the Covetes dels Moros & Pou Clar Pools. Howard is an excellent guide who took us safely in his space minibus to the start of the excursion. The nice thing is that the group excursions are with max 8 people. First started with coffee and breakfast in a local cafe before we went for a walk. This walk was very beautiful with the blossom in February culminating in the Pou Clar Pools. Then we went to Bocairent to visit the caves. Quite exciting trip through small openings, but with beautiful views over the surroundings. To conclude we had another drink and all in all an excellent day trip. Everything goes relaxed without rushing, which is nice!

5.00This was an incredible experience that I highly recommend. Howard the guide is a lovely person, and makes everyone feel very comfortable. The sleepy town of Bocairent was very charming. The Covetes del Moros Caves felt like quite an adventure exploring its inner workings, and learning about its rich history. The guide is in Spanish, but Howard was able to translate it English. The Pou Clar rock pools are absolutely stunning - crystal clear waters and breathaking formations. You can even swim in the pools themselves. Can't recommend this trip enough.

5.00A great trip with lots of variety. Bocairent is a beautiful town and the caves are fascinating. Be prepared for stooping low! Then a lovely walk through stunning mountain scenery and exploration of some ruined mills. All rounded off with a swim in some beautiful pools. Howard, as ever, was a great guide. Highly recommended.

5.00I really enjoy joining small groups and discovering beautiful old towns, something with links to ancient past and somewhere cool. The charming town of Bocairent was delightful, the caves which were inhabited by the Moors were so much fun to explore and the natural swimming pools were fantastic. Howard always ensures his excursions lead to unforgettable places and once again he didn't disappoint. Thanks for a brilliant day out, will have to come back to the pools when the weather warms up a bit. Thanks to Howard and highly recommended.

The walk in the countryside was really nice with a variety of picturesque scenery. As always Howard was an excellent guide, with a really good knowledge of the local history and geography. Highly recommended!!
