Discover Cork on a family-friendly walking tour that blends sweet treats, rich history, and local charm. We begin at Cameron Bakery with fresh, buttery pastries before strolling along Merchant’s Quay beside the winding River Lee. At Emmet Place, we’ll highlight some of Cork’s most iconic landmarks.
A short walk brings us to one of our partner shops on historic Frenchchurch Street, where you’ll enjoy donuts made fresh that morning. We’ll then treat you to colorful, creative varieties that showcase Cork’s modern flair and flavor.
As we head to our final stop at Cafe Mexicana, we’ll pass the historic Coal Quay, a trading site for centuries. In this cozy café tucked in the Huguenot Quarter, you’ll choose between Alfajores or Grandma’s Mexican cake for a sweet finale.

Cork is a compact city but one that is full of amazing history, sites, and experiences, so you really benefit from a walking tour and - honestly - there are few better ways to keep a tour interesting than periodic pastry stops. Marina had plenty of fun stories, a nifty game with fire signs, and a truly pleasant way of engaging with everyone on the tour. We hit some of the city’s most popular bakeries and some unique ones we’d not seen on the internet. Off-Beat Donuts was particularly cool because, while they have locations across Ireland, they started in Cork and you really get a sense of founder’s passion. Def get the Cork-exclusive donut there.

Maryna was our guide and she was very personable, bringing us to four different donut and pastry establishments while sharing lore, history and sights of downtown Cork. It was a delicious way to experience this charming city. All the sweets were yummy, but my fave was the teddybear bun.

Both guides, Mary and Megan, were so lovely, really warm, friendly and informative. The food was delicious as it was not just run-of-the-mill doughnuts. We were introduced to some very interesting tastes and locations. The historical aspect was excellent with really interesting information - Cork history interspersed with doughnut history! The information was very well pitched for young and old. A really enjoyable couple of hours! Well worth a go if you're in Cork. Thank you! 🍩😊

What a fantastic morning we had with Megan and Mary on the Cork doughnut tour. From cool, artisan eateries, to more typical doughnut stops, the tour had it all! We were a group of 10 made up of adults and children and there really was something for everyone. The history and knowledge and quirky facts that Megan and Mary had was brilliant. They pointed out all the key historical highlights of Cork city but in a light airy and interesting way. I know Cork well but still learnt so much! The doughnut stops were so well planned and thought-out. The seating arrangements and order times all spot on - no delays etc. we were offered water as well as tea and coffee for those who wanted it. The tour guides couldn't do enough to ensure our tour was a great hit. Perfect midterm morning excursion. Thank you Paddy and team!

Very fun, informative, and TASTY tour. Marysol did an amazing job making us feel comfortable, and informed on the misty cool morning donut tour. After the initial meeting and information setting, we walked and it quickly felt like we were chatting with a well informed friend. If you love sweets and learning this is for you!

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time on the donut tour with Rachel! She was so knowledgeable and friendly, filling the walk with fascinating stories about Cork’s history and plenty of laughs along the way. Her enthusiasm with the underscore of jazz throughout the city really made Cork come alive, and of course, the delicious desserts were the icing on the cake. Thank you, Rachel, for such a fun and memorable experience — we learned so much and enjoyed every moment!
