  Great private tour experience with Lloyd and Charlene. Sun Paradise Tours actually provided these 2 guides knowing that I was disabled and going on a power snorkeling excursion from our cruise ship. Lloyd connected us with this tour. These 2 guides worked hard and showed us around well. They stopped to let us sample some wonderful black pineapple unique to Antigua. They even stayed with us after we tipped them at the end to then go get some delicious conch fritters down the street. Thank you Lloyd and Charlene. The only improvement needed is better communication after booking , and maybe two weeks before to stitch things up like location, meeting place, other needs etc. Some of the reviews don't give these folks enough credit for the work they do.   Van had no AC although advertised as being air conditioned. Asking for a partial refund resulted in insults and beligerence.

  I used WhatsApp to confirm my pickup time at my hotel and that way of communicating seemed to work out the best. Sun Paradises phone number is at the bottom of your booking details. My guide, Trecy, was like having a local friend who was glad to explain how her country developed. I stayed in Jolly Harbour so this tour was a great opportunity to see other parts of the island.

  This tour was nothing short of amazing! Our tour guide Lloyd was very passionate, knowledge, and nice! I enjoyed tapping into his wealth of knowledge and experience! He made the island come alive as he took us through a journey from the past to present. Learning about the rich history of the island, the bountiful and diverse plants and trees, the uniqueness in each Parrish and village and so much more! By the conclusion of the tour I felt the equivalent of goin through a college level course on the history of Antigua and Barbuda! He brought us to so many beautiful sites and there was not a single question I had that Lloyd could not answer! It was a remarkable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

  I want to thank Lloyd and Sun Paradise Tours for an amazing day! We booked this tour while our cruise ship docked at Antigua for the day, and thanks to lloyd our pick-up and drop off to the port were seamless. Lloyd followed up with me the day prior to confirm which sites my mom and I wanted to see and if we wanted a beach stop (which we did), he timed everything accordingly so we had ample time for everything. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who has a day to explore Antigua.

  The island is beautiful and there are interesting places to visit in Antigua. Our tour, however, was not as we would have expected. We were told in all correspondence to arrive at 9am. I had to call our guide and he said Viator got it wrong and it should have been 9:45. Our van was too small for the 6 of us do mid way the guide switched the vehicle. He explained that the car was not ready at 9:45 so he had to use the smaller one first. The water was not in a cooler nor was it provided until we had to ask for it. At the Nelson Dockyard we were included with another group to tour and when it was completed our driver was not around. I had the woman at the information desk call him to let him know that we were ready to go. The remainder of the day was fine. We saw Shirley Heights and were provided lunch at a local restaurant. I was honestly disappointed in the overall experience.

  We had a very odd experience we had booked the tour but on the day we received calls from the tour company with a strange story. They first asked where we wanted to visit we said we wanted the tour as booked. They arranged to pick up 10 am. Within 10 minutes they called back and said that they had a break in and their computer was compromised so they had returned my payment to Tripadvisor so they would want us to pay cash up front. After a lot of discussion as we felt this was some kind of scam we cancelled the tour. We did receive an email from Tripadvisor saying they were processing a refund request. We did receive the money back. We are not clear why they did this likely they wanted payment in cash.

• Basically a tour to the boat yard and a mediacore lunch for a lot of money.

  Boat yard heritage site. Didn't see much more of the island. Picked us up 15 minutes late and had payment issues with Viator and tour providor.

  Took St Johns Taxi association to a beach. It was the worst island experience I ever had. This is probably a different company but people need to know this. The island boasts 365 beaches. Well they took us to the worst one. There were only 8 umbrellas and 16 chairs which were all taken. They wanted to bring us a bean bag to sit on in the hot sun. On the way back we saw beautiful beaches which was not where they took us. Investigate before you agree to go with this company to the beach.
