What To Expect

✨ Welcome to the fascinating world of history and mysteries with our new historical escape game dedicated to the outstanding figure of the 18th century - marquis Pombal! This game is an alternative type of excursion in form of walking around the city and solving various puzzles All spots are close to each other and located in the beautiful historical district of Lisbon (Bairro Alto) Your task is to open the cryptex by solving puzzles that the marquis Pombal left in his memoirs Each of 6 exciting tasks will reveal to you one of the 6 password characters All tasks are based on real historical facts of Portugal of the 18th century and in particular on the achievements of the marquis Pombal himself The duration of the quest is approximately 2.5 hours and it is available whole year, during daylight hours The meeting point is in front of the monument to Antonio Ribeiro, near the exit of the Baixa Chiado metro station The minimun number of participants is 2 and maximum is 10. Groups of 4 or more people can divide into two teams and arrange a competition, which is perfect for team building or family competitions.

We recently went on a trip to Lisbon with work. To start the first day we have booked the outdoor escape game "The cryptex of Pompal". This was a challenging puzzle journey through the old heart of the city. We had a lot of fun and definitely recommend doing this with a group if you want to get to know the city in a fun way. We've been to this area many times, but we had no idea how interesting it would be to walk around the place, looking at it through the eyes of Marques De Pombal! The last part of the quest - I had to scratch my brains - the authors put their soul into creating it! It's hard to hide something in plain sight - it's obvious only when you find it, but before that - you have to try).
This is the best historical quest

I 'm excited with the Lisbon city quest! I'm a huge fan of all kinds of quests—escape rooms, city hunts, you name it—and this one did not disappoint. It was super well put together and made exploring Lisbon so much fun. One of the coolest parts was splitting into two teams, which added some friendly competition and made it even more exciting. The organizer was awesome, everything was smooth and well-coordinated. The materials were really interesting and kept us on our toes the whole time. This quest wasn’t just a great challenge; it was also a fantastic way to see more of Lisbon’s hidden spots. I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique adventure!

Had a wonderful time with friends walking around the beautiful places of Lisbon! It was the perfect balance - not too long a walk, but not too fast. It was great looking for symbols while learning a little history. It was particularly impressive that the quest was based on real historical events and locations rather than made up. The performance was of the highest quality and original. Thank you very much!

I never participated in quests before and it was a curious experience. The tasks were suspenseful, but not too tiring. If you are a Lisbon lover it could become another unusual and beautiful way to enjoy the city. Thank you!

Interesting experience and a cool experience. It is like a detective story where you are detectives. The tasks are well thought out and non-trivial, you have to think hard to solve them. I liked the quality of the game materials, everything is done on the good conscience. The game took about 2 hours to play, and I think I was ready to play longer!
