Very competent and friendly management! With the small group he was able to respond to all questions and answer competently. Even the social had its place! I was looking for something interesting that wasn’t looking for action, but where I could learn about the country and the people. We were still able to take beautiful photos.

First day in the Lofoten Islands, first visit of Norway: we couldn't have imagined a better way to start our discovery of this extraordinary region! Eric showed us magnificent and interesting spots. We learned a lot about the history of this place and that of the country, but also about life in modern Norway. Whatsmore, all this information was presented in a very entertaining way. I absolutely recommend to start with this visit upon arrival to the Lofoten!

I would like to highly recommend the tour I joined today. My guide, Eric, was extremely professional and shared many fascinating historical stories throughout the trip. I also really enjoyed our conversations in the car — he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience very pleasant. I was actually a bit worried at first because I was the only participant today, and I thought the tour might be cancelled due to low numbers. However, Eric told me that Lofoten Insights does not cancel tours just because there are too few guests. I think this is truly impressive and shows great commitment to their customers. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

We fell in love with this place, and this is due in no small part to the fantastic trip we took on 2nd August, which gave us a real insight into the history, nature, and geology of the area and took us to some fantastic locations. Dave Williams, an English born professional photographer and arctic specialist who set up Lofoten Insight a couple of years ago, was engaging, well-informed, and made the excursion very interesting. If you are planning to come to Solvaer, do not hesitate to book one of his trips!
