Although the city is chaotic with endless slow-moving traffic, the hustle and bustle of the city do not affect the unique friendliness of the people. An easy greeting of hello in Vietnamese, "Xin Chao", is sufficient to taste the local hospitality. Forget about shopping and must-see attractions for a while. Let me show you the real Saigon.
- The tour is private and flexible so there are only you and your family on tour.
- Our tour mostly focuses on understanding locals' way of life, culture, history and cuisine so we will visit different aspects of the city (local wet market, CIA building, stilt house areas and the likes).
- There are no shopping and tourist traps during the tour.
- All guides are licensed, knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic.

If I could give Xuan 6 stars I would! He is charming, caring, professional, well organised and so much fun. I will never forget his laugh ☺️ We were a group of 5 couples and we all had a memorable and laughter filled 3 days together with Xuan and his drivers. They were very skilled at getting us in and out of crazy traffic and also unexpected flooding (!) situations. Xuan thought of everything. Each day was memorable for different reasons. Please don’t hesitate to book with Xuan!!

HCMC is a vibrant but challenging city to visit. Five couples enjoyed a memorable day and got to see all the major sites that we hoped for. We toured markets, enjoyed pedicab rides, ate a fabulous lunch, shopped, saw the major highlights, and ended the day with a thought provoking visit to the War Remnants Museum.

Hi Chi Minh City is a vibrant and active city that is a delight to experience but a challenge to navigate. We traveled from the Hiep Phuoc cruise port with 4 other couples. Our wonderful guide, Hannah, met us at the gate along with our fabulous driver. We had a full day in HCMC and got a taste of everything it has to offer. We had a wonderful experience. We visited markets, rode in pedicabs, saw the highlights, had a wonderful lunch, and had a thought provoking visit at the War Remnants Museum.

Such a fun experience. He was prompt and provided am excellent driver. There was always a cold water waiting for us in the car too which was much appreciated. The tour was great! We only had one day in Saigon so this was a fantastic way to see as much as possible. The tunnels were a great experience. Then we brought us to a fantastic authentic restaurant for lunch. The temple and museum were also incredible to see. I wish we had more time to see more but we did as much as we could in one day. Highly recommend and would book with him again if I'm ever back in town. Xuan was knowledge and so friendly. He spoke great English and easy to understand!

We sailed into Vietnam on the RCL Anthem of the Seas and booked this shore excursion "Tour With Xuan." First, I have to give complements to the agency for arranging and organizing this shore excursion - Xuan was very communicative and responsive, always giving us the information we needed. We started out booking a 2 person private tour but with Xuan's guidence, merged into a 7 person trip into Ho Chi Minh City. We were assigned Mr. Thao to be our guide. First, I was very impressed with his command of English which is obviously important to a 7 person tour of all Americans. Second, the driver was quite skilled and safely navigated the quite congested roads. We were in a Transit Van which was well maintained and had good a/c which was important in 90 degree weather. Our tour was extremely well planned - started with a 90 minute drive into the city, with Mr. Thao giving us background on all things Vietnam as well as his personal family stories which added a great deal. We stopped at the Thien Hau pagoda and then took a rickshaw ride around Chinatown. I was a little concerned at first - it was hot, the roads are crazy, and I wasn't sure it would add much to the experience. But it was one of the best parts of the day - you see Chinatown vendors, watch their work, smell the food, and see large areas of the neighborhood - things missing from driving and walking. Next we had lunch at a Pho establishment that President Clinton once visited back in 2000 - American once fought a war in this country, lost, and now a restaurant celebrates its famous American visitor prominently at its entrance. We stopped at the Ben Thanh Market to bargain with vendors for souvenirs, then at the War Remnant Museum to experience the Vietnam War from the North's perspective, and finished at the Central Post Office for refreshments, saw the Notre Dame Cathedral under construction, and took pictures at the famous CIA headquarters where the last military helicopter left Saigon in 1975 - now next door to a shopping mall with H&M and Tiffanys. I would strongly encourage fellow cruisers to look at this option - a smaller group particularly with the rickshaw experience was wonderful.

Xuan was wonderful, took us everywhere we wanted to go, great communication before and during the tour to pick the . Presented a great positive overview of city, with interesting facts about the city and its history. Saw War museum, tunnel in city house, and other buildings related to US and Vietnam war. Sister had mobility scooter and he was careful to take us places we could all enjoy. Could not ask for a better day. Highly recommend you book a tour with XUAN. Highlight of the tour was the Trishaw ride through the city markets. Everything is for sale in those markets. This is a tour that should not be missed.

We had an absolutely amazing three-day tour in Ho Chi Minh City with our private guide, Xuan. We cannot recommend him more highly. For those looking to explore Vietnam in a personalized way, Xuan's expertise and warm hospitality were unsurpassed. Our private tour kicked off with meeting Xuan and our dedicated driver right at the port. On the first day, we delved into the vibrant streets and significant sites of Ho Chi Minh City. Xuan's deep knowledge and passion for the city made every stop a memorable learning experience. The following days were equally captivating as we journeyed through the Mekong Delta, immersing ourselves in the tranquil beauty and rich culture of the region. Each moment was perfectly coordinated to ensure we captured the essence of the delta's unique setting. The Cu Chi Tunnels were another highlight of our tour, where Xuan's detailed explanations brought the history and ingenuity of the tunnels to life. It felt like we were visiting family in Vietnam, so comfortable and welcomed did Xuan make us feel. Beyond Ho Chi Minh City, Xuan's exceptional services extended as he arranged seamless tour in another port of call in Vietnam. His ability to tailor experiences to match our interests and pace was truly impressive. For anyone looking to explore Vietnam in an authentic and insightful way, Xuan is the guide to choose.

I arranged the tour for 10 people with Xuan. He replied very quickly to every email, which gave me confidence to make the booking. No question was too small he answered all my enquiries. I arranged 2 tours one in Hue and one in Ho Chi Minh. Xuan arrived on time, in very clean , new air-conditioned mini busses. He provided water and lots of interesting information. He took us to great authentic places for coffee and lunch. We saw all the sights in comfort with a knowledgeable guide. The restaurants he used were excellent and even provided vegetarian food. He took us to clean toilets which might not sound important but trust me it is ! Xuan took photos and videos and WhatsApp them to us all...so thoughtful. Xuan is an all round nice guy and my groups on both tours thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Book with Xuan you won't be disappointed.

We are back from a 13 night Celebrity cruise that sailed from Singapore to Hong Kong. While in Ho Chi Minh we were lucky enough to secure the services of Xuan by booking him almost a year ahead of time. I had read lots of good reviews from him on both Trip Advisor and Cruise Critic so were excited to use him. He did not disappoint in the least! His communication before the cruise great - he was always prompt and answered all my questions and included suggestions of his own. What I didn't expect was how charming and personable he was. He was so much fun! We loved the tour we had with him in Ho Chi Minh where he took us to all the major sites including a fabulous lunch at a place that Bill Clinton ate at and a fun ride through the markets in cyclones. He was a wealth of information and is obviously very proud of his beautiful country, as he well should be. As a side note the vehicle he used was extremely comfortable which was good since it is a long trip from the port to HCMC. I cannot say enough about how good Xuan was and I would recommend him 100% to anyone. If we were to go back to Vietnam on a land trip I would consider using him for a multiday Vietnam tour. He is wonderful :)
