Very enjoyable experience. Scenery was lovely. The 2 houses you can go into were brilliant. Well worth a visit even if you are not a fan of the Hobbit. Guides on site are very good. Our driver Nuttar was a gentleman. He entertained us to and from the Hobbiton Village.

The views are breathtaking and there are so many hobbit “houses” and sceneries to pose with. The pace of the guide is just nice! We ended the trip with the buffet and it was filling!

What a wonderful tour with a great tour guide, including the tour bus driver. The tour is highly recommended even if you’re not a fan of LOTR or hobbits. The scenery was incredible with the rolling hills, and there were so many hobbit holes. The buffet that we had was really good considering it’s a buffet. Our bus driver was very informative and always kept us on schedule. Our tour guide through Hobbiton was really nice, informative and funny. We would do this tour again!

Our driver, Hannah, was excellent. On the way to Hobbiton, she gave information about Māori culture and Rotorua. As we got closer, she talked about the movie sets. Once we arrived we had another guide for the set tour. Walking through the set was magical- so many amazing details. The tour ended with a beer at the Green Dragon and a good buffet lunch.
