  The tour guide ADIL of Auckland & Beyond is helpful and friendly. We joined a short trip, his professional touring skill did impress us. He is punctual on pick up point early in the morning (6:20am). On the way to Hobbiton, he managed to update us the brief history of New Zealand although it maybe difficult to deliver in full picture. But the information is useful to us. Thanks ADIL for taking pictures for me and my wife, and you are always waiting us at exit so that we don't even have a little anxiety immediately after all guided shows. ADIL, you are great. You answered all my questions in a helpful manner. The little pamphlet you given me is just in time for my planing my trip in coming days. Thank for all your efforts in this short trip.   Our guide, Andy, was the best. Despite the early pickup time we did not sleep in the car but exchanged such great stories with him and learned so much about New Zealand from him. We could tell from the first minutes onward that this would be a special tour. He took us for coffee before continuing on to our Hobbiton Movie Set Tour, which was a really great experience, including a second breakfast (LOTR inside joke, but note that this part is the tour is not private). After that we continued to the Waitomo Cave to see the glowworms (the experience inside the cave is also not private) but not before trying to spot a Kiwi (not the fruit ;-)). After a last rest stop (including some delicious ice cream) we arrived back at our hotel in Auckland. Special thanks to Andy for making this day truly unforgettable. Would really recommend this tour to anyone since you have your private guide and driver who takes care of everything.

  It was the best experience ever this day full of amazing memories it's started with excitement with our guide Adil the very nice person who has a large sea of information about all the city the history the civilization omg good bless him thanks a lot we enjoyed I will come back again in other adventures 🥰

  Enjoyed my day trip to Hobbiton and caves with Dave. He is very knowledgeable, shared a lot of interesting facts about NZ and trip along the way. Highly recommend Auckland & Beyond tours as your guide.

  Our tour guide Nancy was caring and she always share a lot about the Māori culture. Nice experience in the Hobbiton Movie Set although it was raining, the view was so beautiful.

  Loved the Hobbiton tour and the Waitomo Cave was really neat! Our guide was super informative about the area. I enjoy birdwatching and she pointed out different bird species and we even made a little stop at Kiwi House.

  Wow wow wow! What an incredible experience! We absolutely loved this private tour to Hobbiton and the glow worm caves. Our tour guide Warren was the best! Not only did he impress us with his local knowledge, but he also kept us laughing and entertained as we drove to these amazing destinations. He was so great, we specifically requested him for another tour - the Rotorua Maori cultural and geothermal experience. We are so happy we chose Auckland & Beyond for our once in a lifetime trip to New Zealand.

  We visited the Glow Worm Caves and Hobbiton with Auckland and Beyond’s Raymond. We enjoyed both visits. The caves were not large, compared to the Carlsbad Caverns, but were interesting to see. The best part for me was the quiet boat ride on the river in caves that were pitch black except for the glowing “worms” on the ceilings. If you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies and The Hobbit, the visit to the Shire is a must. The gardens are meticulously maintained so that every photograph of a Hobbit hole is perfect. Raymond, our driver, was excellent. He kept us on time, despite traffic issues, and was very well-informed on NZ and it’s history.
