• Hobbiton is a MUST and so is the waterfall!

  This was the highlight of our Australia/New Zealand cruise! Hobbiton is extraordinary and so beautiful! The staff was super friendly and the tour of Hobbiton was amazing! We did the full day tour and even though it was drizzly, our guide gave us options and let us choose whether we wanted to hike to the waterfall in the rain or not. Most of us said yes, so we got to hike through the bush to the beautiful waterfall in the rain! It was really cool! Yummy snacks were provided as well as water bottles. We had several stops in small towns and whole day was just great! Would highly recommend!

  Must see attraction in New Zeland, the Hobbiton was fantastic, the guide was very good and have made the tour even better. The visit of the inside of a hobbit house was amazing. Also the time to explore the city was much apreciate. Small advice, you could purchase also the ticket with this company if you contact them. I would highly recommend.

  An experience we won't soon forget! Alan was THE MOST EXCELLENT tour guide. He knows so much about the land and took us for a walk through the forest to a waterfall and pointed out the trees and glow worm habitats. He shared about the history of the region and had the most upbeat personality. The Hobbiton set was the best movie set experience, so well done and worth every penny!

  Great trip from our cruise ship to Hobbiton with Stephen and Amanda with driver Alan. Modern air conditioned van with chilled water provided and home made brownies. Vegan snacks much appreciated as I had flagged this when booking.Great communication during booking process and during tour Alan looked after us and made us laugh with lots of information about the local area. The ship does not offer this tour so this is a good option, you can book your ticket for Hobbiton at the same time or separately but make sure you check the time of the tour they are joining. You will be allocated a tour guide for your tour of Hobbiton which takes 2.5 hours we visited McClaren Falls before our tour.
