My hubby and i stumbled upon this place and booked directly. It had a walking garden tour to explain the different herbs used in Vietnamese cooking. Then we cooked the dishes we picked. Our teacher was nice and funny. Taught us well and we could take home the leftovers from our dishes as well as the recipes. If you want to learn and make vietnamese dishes at home, try this experience, away from the usual youtube tutorial for the experience.

Great experience in this place, cooking some delicious Vietnamese food! I've really spent a great time with Thuy and all the staff 🫶🏼🫶🏼. They were so kind to me and also they give me good instructions about what I was cooking. The journey starts with a delicious drink with lemon basil and then you can learn about the plantation in a garden walk tour. Also, I must say that ingredients are fresh and you will find that portions are generous. If you are on Hoi An, I truly recommend you to do this cooking class. You'll never forget the experience and also people working there. Thank you so much!! (:

We cannot recommend this cooking class enough! We did the 4 hour class, including a tour of their beautiful vegetable garden, an incredible cooking experience using fresh ingredients, and then ending with a relaxing foot message. The cost was 20$ per person, and it was well worth that price. The staff was kind and very generous, and our guide Lulu was magnificent. We were in a group of 6 people, and it was enjoyable getting to know the other people in our group. The atmosphere was incredible, and the food was even better. Do yourself a favor and book this tour, you will not regret it!

Amazing experience! Everything is organized to be off the beaten track. The cooking course with the choice of starters and dish to prepare. The beautiful setting in the middle of the rice fields, the tour to the market to learn more about customs! I highly recommend!!

Highly recommended! From the boat ride to the market visit and the cooking class, everything was well organised, and the guide was very kind and informative. The cooking class was especially the highlight of our Hoi An trip - the staff were incredibly sweet and efficient, and they made sure we fully enjoyed the experience. The vegetable village where we enjoyed beautiful scenic views was also really lovely. It was great to explore areas outside the Old Town.

My husband and I visited Maihomehoian as part of a countryside tour which included dinner. We were very apprehensive about trying Vietnamese food, but needn't have been. The food was absolutely lovely. Our guide had rang ahead and asked for a few changes to the menu to suit our requirements, and these were done happily. Its a bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit if staying in hoi an. Mai even sent me the recipes to try at home. 10/10.
